Vampire Diaries - Not Only For Teenagers
As the name suggests, the series tells the story of vampires, but not only.
You've probably heard of the Vampire Diaries series. This popular series first aired in 2009 on The CW. Since then, production has become one of the most popular dramas, horror, and romance series in the world.
The series consists of 8 seasons, approximately 22 episodes each. In total, this gives us 172 episodes of about 40 minutes each. Using simple math, we can calculate that watching the entire series will take us about 115 hours.
Vampire Diaries
As the name suggests, the series tells the story of vampires, but not only. It begins with the fact that after almost a century and a half, the vampire Stefan Salvatore returns to his hometown. Later he meets Elena. Elena and Stefan almost immediately fall in love and become a couple. His brother, Damon, returns to town with Stefan. Damon is the opposite of his brother. Damon intends to implement an amazing plan through which he will discover many secrets from the past. This plan will also result in many casualties. In the small town of Mystic Falls, many homicides appear to have been committed by a wild animal. Of course, the perpetrator of these killings is not an animal.
As the plot develops, the heroes face many problems, puzzles, and skirmishes. However, each time they manage to get out of danger entirely.
Vampire Diaries - Review
The first seasons of Vampire Diaries focus mainly on the love story. In season 3 the plot unfolds in several other directions. Of course, this is not an ordinary romance with heroes from "Twilight". There are many stories, murders, and unsolved mysteries appearing in the Vampire Diaries. The series is also not only about vampires but about many other strange creatures such as werewolves, witches, ghosts, mermaids. Of course, there are many more of these creatures, long to list.
The annoying factor in Vampire Diaries is that the main characters, no matter how much in trouble they are, will always find a way out. Even in death, they are sometimes resurrected. Of course, we are only talking about the main characters here, because the series is full of victims, people close to the main characters.
It would seem that the series is aimed at teenagers. Nothing could be more wrong. Every age group will find something for themselves and they will fall in love with Vampire Diaries. The series tells an amazing story that draws people to the TV. A story of beautiful and dangerous love, full of murder and secrets. Many people can watch several episodes one after the other, and this only shows how addictive this series is.

The Originals and Legacies
Vampire Diaries ended with season 8, which aired in 2017.
However, the creators of the series did not want to disappoint the fans and decided to create one spin-off and a separate series telling similar stories: The Originals and Legacies. So, if you're a fan of the show and can't accept the fact that the original Vampire Diaries won't be there anymore, then check out the two series above.
Summary
Vampire Diaries is a good series. It has many threads and can be said with a clear conscience that it is worth recommending. According to many, the series is aimed mainly at teenagers, but I do not agree. I believe every age group should check out the Vampire Diaries and see for yourself.

Aren’t some stories worth listening, because you know the people the story is about; we keep coming back for more and are drawn deeper into the story due to the same reason. Netflix series, Stranger Things is one such story. Not because of the story itself, but due to the ever-growing character identities. Stranger Things portrays complex emotions; through the lives of young teenagers. The viewer connects to the non-fantasy life of school children and almost all the characters portrayed are young which gives us a sense of connection to our younger selves; thus it’s a ride down the memory lane. Viewers can relate to their childish problems; their solutions immature, yet completely just. The very nature of the show has also allowed its characters to grow. Throughout the show, every character is worked on, creating a very precise world view for that particular character. This method of character identity development on-screen is uniquely satisfying. Their decisions and choices seem justified; as the story progresses viewers can create a stronger connection to the characters and feel more involved in the story.

It is hardly debatable that the world has always been run by a bunch of aging dinosaurs, mostly male, who refuse to allow the younger generation to bring about changes. Politicians and leaders everywhere refuse to release the reigns of creativity and leadership until they are dead or dying. It is time to give the young a chance to revolutionize and change the entire landscape of their existence.
