Updated Report on Production Restart For 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,' 'Hawkeye,' and 'Loki'

Cool!

Can you hear that sound, my fellow slates of culture? Yes, it is indeed an update on one of our favorite high-grossing franchises, which is aptly named the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unfortunately, this time around, it is some slightly dour news, as reports of three productions have been halted due to the unavoidable news that is the current pandemic. With the famous "Infinity Saga" bringing about the story arc end **SPOILERS** of both Iron Man and Captain America, we the audience were going to be treated with Black Widow, but it was pushed back to November. Playing a pseudo domino effect on the franchise as it were, this has resulted in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and Loki all to being delayed.

On the brighter side of things, though, we are happy to hear about the decision to have the franchise take on several live-action series on their parent company's streaming platform Disney+. Starting this brand new Phase 4 of Marvel, the pandemic has given us a serious blow with these delays. But just like all heroes in their darkest hour, a single shimmer of light shines on in the form of a rumor gaining pull within the crowds of the internet.

Charles Murphy of the well-known Murphy's Multiverse shared an interesting tidbit that Marvel Studios crew members have once again begun striking the forge of production in Atlanta, Georgia.

"Crews for the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and Kawkeye moved back into town and got the ball rolling again on the three upcoming Marvel Studios Disney Plus streaming series... WandaVision, you may have noticed, is glaringly absent from the list but we continue to hear they have work to complete in Los Angels."

Hearing all of this, many Marvel fans may now be feeling at ease. Admittedly, it does the heart and nerd rage some good that signs of production have begun to turn their wheels once more, even if nothing here is solid (yet, anyways).

Now, officially speaking, there has yet to be an official announcement on the release dates for WandaVision, Hawkeye, and Loki. However, if the restarting of production is already scheduled, then we may gain an estimate of their release dates. Compounding all of this is the fact that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was suppose to be up for release on Disney+ this very month but has not yet been advertised with a planned release date.

Moving on with Marvel Studios' official lack of announcements regarding all of this has more than a few fans scratching their heads at just all that is going on. I for one am happy to report back that the gears are still in motion and, as it were, it seems like someone up there at their HQ is keeping the ball afloat and rolling. Following a slight side note that might ping everyone's interest is that the slightly lesser known film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was confirmed to have started production in Sydney, Australia. Undoubtedly taking a well calculated page from other production teams' notebooks, the team are understandably making very serious precautions towards corona-related illnesses and all other health and safety protocols.

With the world still held in the tight grip of the deadly virus, it is good to know that our entertainment industry is still hard at work, plugging away countless hours away to bring out just a bit more joy to millions of folks out there. All in all, I would like to leave off with two quotes from Vision that seem somewhat appropriate:

"Our very strength invites challenge. Challenge incites conflict. Conflict breeds catastrophe."

"I stand forever at the crossroads of mind and heart. For instance, at this moment, I seek your counsel because I am internally conflicted regarding the most logical course of action..."
