Tuck Jagadish Ending Explained: How Jagadish Reunites His Broken Family
A complete spoiler-filled explanation of Nani’s emotional action drama about family betrayal, land disputes, revenge and redemption.

Spoiler Warning: This article reveals the complete story and ending of Tuck Jagadish.
Tuck Jagadish is an emotional action drama starring Natural Star Nani. Set in a village where land is considered more valuable than relationships, the film combines family conflict, romance, political rivalry and violent revenge. At the centre of the story is Jagadish, an honest young man who tries to continue his father’s legacy while fighting enemies both outside and inside his own family.
The Violent History of Bhudevipuram
The story begins in Bhudevipuram, a beautiful village with a dark history of land disputes and murders.
A local man named Lallu takes a lift from the village’s newly appointed Mandal Revenue Officer, commonly known as the MRO. During the journey, Lallu warns him that surviving in Bhudevipuram requires obeying a dangerous man named Veerendra Naidu.
To explain why the village is so violent, Lallu tells him about an incident known as the “Bloody Papaya.”
A papaya from Sheru Naidu’s tree fell into Narayana’s field. Narayana claimed that the fruit belonged to him because it had landed on his land. During the village council meeting, Sheru insulted Narayana and made an offensive remark about his wife.
Enraged, Narayana murdered Sheru in front of everyone.
Sheru’s son, Veerendra, later promised Narayana’s wife that he would help release her husband from prison. In reality, Veerendra had already murdered Narayana. He continued exploiting the woman while allowing her to believe that her husband was still alive.
Veerendra is not only cruel but also extremely powerful. He illegally occupies villagers’ lands and wants to become village president.
The new MRO refuses to fear him. After discovering Veerendra’s illegal activities, the officer begins taking action against him. That same night, Veerendra murders the MRO and hangs his body from a tree.
Jagadish Returns Home
The respected village president, Aadi Sesha Naidu, has always protected the villagers. Local leaders request that his elder son, Boss Naidu, contest the next election against Veerendra.
Around this time, Aadi Sesha Naidu’s younger son, Jagadish, returns home after completing his education.
Jagadish belongs to a large family. His father married twice. His first wife, Aruna, gave birth to two daughters. His second wife gave birth to Boss and Jagadish but died shortly after Jagadish’s birth.
Aruna raised Jagadish and Boss as her own sons. Jagadish loves and respects her even more than a biological mother.
A young woman named Chandra also lives with the family. Her parents died in an accident, so Aadi Sesha Naidu’s family raised her from childhood. Chandra loves Jagadish and asks him to marry her.
Jagadish gently rejects her proposal. He explains that she will always remain an important member of the family, but he does not see her as his life partner.
Jagadish Falls in Love with Varalakshmi
Jagadish soon meets Varalakshmi, the village revenue officer. She is brave, honest and unwilling to tolerate Veerendra’s illegal activities.
When Veerendra’s men steal resources from government land and misbehave with Varalakshmi, Jagadish attacks them and drives them away. He becomes attracted to her immediately.
A corrupt new MRO, who secretly works for Veerendra, later demands sexual favours from Varalakshmi in exchange for signing a widow’s land-transfer documents.
Varalakshmi tells Jagadish what happened. That night, Jagadish, Varalakshmi and their friends cover their faces, enter the MRO’s house and beat him badly.
Varalakshmi becomes impressed by Jagadish’s courage and kindness. As they spend more time together, their friendship slowly develops into love.
The Death of Aadi Sesha Naidu
Veerendra continues creating hatred between village families. He even manipulates a fifteen-year-old boy into attacking his uncle over a false land-related accusation.
Aadi Sesha Naidu intervenes and explains that the boy’s father died from an illness, not because of his uncle. He reminds the child that the uncle supported the family when they had no one else.
That night, Aadi Sesha Naidu suffers a heart attack.
Before dying, he asks his lawyer, Krishnamurthy, to prepare a will dividing his property equally among all four children.
However, after his father’s death, Boss reveals his true nature.
Boss threatens the lawyer and demands that all the property be transferred into his name. He hates Aruna and her daughters and refuses to give them any share.
It is also revealed that Boss was present when Veerendra murdered the previous MRO. Boss did not try to save the officer because the MRO had helped transfer some family land to poor farmers.
Boss secretly makes a deal with Veerendra. He agrees to support Veerendra in the village election in exchange for recovering the land his father gave to the farmers.
Chandra Is Trapped in a Cruel Marriage
While Jagadish is away in the city for a job interview, Veerendra offers Boss a profitable windmill project. In exchange, Veerendra wants Chandra to marry his younger brother, Dheeru.
Boss agrees without consulting Jagadish.
He hides the wedding from his brother because he knows Jagadish would never allow Chandra to marry into Veerendra’s violent family.
Jagadish learns about the marriage only when a friend calls and asks why he did not attend. Shocked and furious, he immediately returns to the village.
On the wedding night, Dheeru reveals his real intentions. He never loved Chandra. He married her to take revenge on Aadi Sesha Naidu’s family for his father Sheru’s death.
Dheeru begins physically and emotionally abusing her.
When Jagadish visits Chandra, he notices injuries on her hand. He secretly gives her a remote control connected to a light in his house. He tells her to press it whenever she is in danger.
Boss Turns Against His Own Family
Boss’s sister later asks him for money to support her husband’s business. Boss refuses and declares that the entire property belongs only to him.
When Aruna reminds him that she raised him like her own son, Boss coldly replies that he never considered her his mother.
Jagadish tries to convince Boss to divide the property fairly, but Boss threatens to remove him from the inheritance as well.
Jagadish approaches the corrupt MRO for help but receives none. He then files a formal complaint, which results in the officer’s suspension.
Soon, another MRO arrives in Bhudevipuram.
When Lallu enters the officer’s vehicle and begins repeating his usual warning about Veerendra, he is shocked to discover that the new MRO is Jagadish.
Jagadish had secretly completed the examination and become a government officer.
He warns Veerendra that the villagers no longer need to fear him.
Jagadish Changes the Village
As the new MRO, Jagadish begins resolving land disputes and returning illegally occupied property to its rightful owners.
Boss pressures him to approve the windmill project, but Jagadish refuses because the proposed land belongs to the farmers.
Veerendra sends his men to stop the farmers from working. Jagadish arrives and defeats them. When Veerendra threatens Chandra, Jagadish breaks his leg and warns him never to harm her.
Jagadish also tells Narayana’s wife the truth: her husband has been dead for years, and Veerendra was the one who murdered him.
Meanwhile, Jagadish and his sisters file a case against Boss to claim their rightful inheritance.
However, Aruna becomes angry and asks them to withdraw the case. Jagadish cannot understand why she continues protecting Boss after everything he has done.
The lawyer finally reveals a shocking family secret.
The Truth About Boss’s Birth
Boss is not the biological son of Jagadish’s mother.
He is actually Aruna’s biological child.
After Jagadish’s mother lost two babies, her mental health deteriorated. To save her from emotional collapse, Aruna selflessly gave her own son, Boss, to Jagadish’s mother.
Years later, Jagadish was born.
This means that Boss and Jagadish are half-brothers, while Aruna—the woman Boss rejected—is actually his real mother.
After learning the truth, Jagadish withdraws the court case because he does not want to hurt Aruna.
At the same time, the windmill businessman demands the return of the ₹5 crore advance he gave for the project. Boss discovers that Veerendra secretly took the money in his name.
When Boss confronts him, Veerendra refuses to return it and later arranges a serious road accident.
Boss is badly injured and urgently requires blood. Aruna donates her blood to save him.
Jagadish then reveals the complete truth about Boss’s birth.
Boss finally understands Aruna’s sacrifice. He breaks down, apologises to her and asks forgiveness from his sisters and their husbands. The divided family begins coming together again.
Jagadish Is Misunderstood
Despite the reconciliation, another misunderstanding develops.
Jagadish’s maternal uncle decides to fight for the family property and sends a legal notice without Jagadish’s permission.
When the notice reaches the house, everyone assumes Jagadish is responsible. They accuse him of caring more about money than relationships.
Jagadish tries to explain, but nobody listens.
Heartbroken, he leaves the house. Varalakshmi comforts him and encourages him not to abandon the values taught by his father.
Chandra’s Final Cry for Help
Boss feels guilty for arranging Chandra’s marriage and goes to Dheeru’s house to protect her.
Dheeru refuses to change. He asks whether Boss can restore Veerendra’s broken leg, bring Sheru back from the dead or murder Jagadish.
When Boss defends his brother, Dheeru attacks Chandra. Boss tries to rescue her but is beaten by Veerendra’s men.
Chandra escapes for a moment and presses the remote Jagadish gave her.
The warning light switches on.
Jagadish immediately understands that Chandra is in danger and rushes to the house.
Tuck Jagadish Ending Explained
Jagadish arrives just as Dheeru is about to kill Chandra. A brutal fight follows.
Jagadish battles Veerendra, Dheeru and their men. During the confrontation, he kills Veerendra.
A terrified Dheeru begs for his life and tells Jagadish to take Chandra away. Jagadish asks Chandra what she wants.
Chandra says she wants to leave with him.
Jagadish then kills Dheeru, permanently ending the abuse and revenge that destroyed Chandra’s life.
He brings Chandra back home safely.
After learning the truth about the legal notice and seeing everything Jagadish has done for them, the entire family apologises to him. Aruna admits that she judged him unfairly and recognises that he has the purest heart in the family.
Jagadish forgives everyone, restoring peace and unity to the household.
He later marries Varalakshmi.
Eventually, Jagadish is transferred to another village as its new MRO. His journey continues as he carries his father’s principles of honesty, justice and compassion to another community.
The ending shows that Jagadish never truly fought for property. He fought to protect relationships from being destroyed by greed. While Boss and Veerendra believed land represented power, Jagadish proved that family, fairness and humanity are far more valuable.
