Here are the top ten hottest men in the TV show Shadowhunters!

10. Victor Aldertree

He’s a real jerk, the head of the Institute that comes in Season 2. He follows orders from the Clave and cracks down on everyone there. Despite this, he does have his charming moments, even though they’re few and far between.

9. Luke

Luke is Clary’s father figure, the man who has stood by Jocelyn through thick and thin. He and Jocelyn loved each other, making Valentine feel as if they had betrayed him. They both tried to do the right thing and years later, Luke is a detective for the NYPD and the respected leader of a werewolf pack.

8. Simon

Clary’s best friend since Kindergarten, Simon is a major nerd and a hypochondriac. He has his weird quirks, but he’s completely loyal to Clary. In fact, he’s been in love with her for a long time but never had the nerve to tell her about his feelings. *SPOILER* After he turns into a Vampire, he becomes slightly different but still the same old lovable Simon.

7. Hodge

He’s the head weapons trainer at the Institute and man does he have some moves! He was once a member of the Circle, who followed Valentine. After the Uprisings, the Lightwoods made a deal and part of that included Hodge’s punishment ruin, which burns any time he speaks about what happened. He’s also confined to the Institute and can’t leave.

6. Sebastian Verlac

He’s a new character and the first episode he shows up in is Season 2 Episode 11. He’s cute and charming and the British accent only adds to his charms! *SPOILER* He helps Isabel with her addiction, revealing that he just recently overcame his own. He has mommy issues and urges Isabel to tell her family where she is and that she’s okay.

5. Meliorn

He’s a Selie and Selie’s can’t lie. When we first see him, he’s in a relationship with Isabel, though it seems the two use each other more for information. Despite being a Selie, even with their typical untrusting nature, Meliorn isn’t too bad of a guy. He helps out the heroes later in the season and then in season two, we see that he was punished for it. He’ll always do what he believes is right.

4. Raphael

He’s a vampire, the head of the Vampire Clan in Brooklyn. He’s dangerous and appears to be threatening and tough, especially to Simon, starting off as kind of a bad guy. In the second season, we find out more about him and his past and find out that he’s actually not as bad as he seems.

3. Magnus

He’s the Head Warlock of Brooklyn. He loves magic and glitter and living on the wild side. If there’s a party, Magnus is there and more than that, he probably planned it. He’s lived for centuries, though he loves over exaggerating just how many. Because he was all alone when he was getting used to his powers, he takes pity on other Downworlders who struggle in their transition and since he can’t have kids, they’re all like his children.

2. Alec

He’s so serious, dark, mysterious and handsome! He’s the oldest child and his parents have always placed a burden on his shoulder to be the perfect Shadowhunter. He lives by the rules and seldom disobeys them, only when he has to. Despite this, he would do anything for his family, especially his younger sister and brother and his Paraboti, Jace.

1. Jace!

He’s sexy and he knows it! He hides his inner pain behind sarcasm and arrogance. He’s charming and there’s something about him that most women can’t resist. Either you love him or you hate him. He only keeps a few people close and allows them to know more about him, including his Paraboti, Alec, his adopted sister Isabel and Clary, the woman he truly loves.
