5. Teen Wolf

Description: The high-school anonymity Scott McCall was trying to break free from couldn't have happened in a more mysterious, complicated way. While walking in the woods one night Scott encounters a creature, is bitten in the side, and his life is forever changed. Is he a human or a werewolf? Or a little bit of both? Controlling the strange urges he now feels is the toughest part, and he's afraid the urges could end up controlling him. Will the bite be a gift or a curse, especially as it relates to the mischievous Allison, whom Scott can't get enough of?

The first time I’ve ever watched this show I didn’t think I would fall win love with the characters as much as I had down when I first decided to watch what it’s all about since my friends and followers on Twitter always seemed to be talking about it. It has everything that you could think of a supernatural show. It’s got it’s werewolves, demons and everything in between. I highly recommend this show if you’re looking for a new show to watch.

4. The Vampire Diaries

Description: The Vampire Diaries is an American supernatural teen drama television series developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, based on the popular book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith

Even though I’ve never read the books that it was based of, I can definitely say that The Vampire Diaries is an amazing supernatural show that has everything from doppelgängers to hot brothers to witches. Anyone there likes vampires will love this show. I’ve watched it a few times and I still can’t get clear with just how incredible the show was. The creators did a fantastic job in choosing the actors. The cast included Ian Somethalder, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Candice King and Kat Graham. If you watch it I can say you will fall for them as much as I did.

3. Naruto

Discription: Naruto is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who seeks recognition from his peers and dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village.

I mean who doesn’t like a good anime once in a while right? Naruto is defiantly my one and only favorite anime show that I can truly say has taught me so much. The main character (you guessed it) Naruto, lost his parents when he was born and hated by his village growing up. He never gave up no matter how hard things may have been for him. He always pushed forward and in the end his dream of becoming homage ( which is the leader of his village) came true and not only that but he became a legend ans a hero of the hidden leaf. He showed resilience, determination and strength despite his life not being great.

2. Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda

Description: Lt. Joe Kenda spent 23 years in the Colorado Springs Police Department, where he amassed a lifetime of memories catching killers and helping solve close to 400 homicide investigations. The vivid memories are brought back to life in this hourlong series, as Kenda reopens his "Murder Books" for viewers -- folders in which every detail of his murder cases is held -- to revisit the most disturbing cases still haunting him today. As he details the process of how he solved the crimes, Kendra also embarks on a personal journey, coming to terms with long-suppressed nightmares. As he says, "I don't want to tell these stories. I need to."

If you’re an avid lover of all things crime then I recommend watching this as it’s actually one of the best crime shows I’ve ever seen. Lt. Joe Kenda talks about each crime that has changed his life in one way or the other throughout his 23 years on the force. He even talks about how his career began. He also shows you how to never give up even when things are tough because you truly never know when your big break will come ans how you will be viewed by other after that happens. Keep pushing yourself because you will always achieve your goals one wha or the other.

1. Shadowhunters

Description : DescriptionOn her birthday, Clary Fray discovers a surprise concerning her life. The teenager is not who she thinks she is -- she comes from a long line of human-angel hybrids, called Shadowhunters, who hunt demons. After her mother is kidnapped, Clary is thrust into the world of demon-hunting. Clary relies on mysterious Jace and fellow hunters Isabelle and Alec to help her navigate the dark world. While living in this new world among creatures like vampires and werewolves, Clary's best friend Simon helps her uncover answers that could help her find her mother. The fantasy show is based on a series of young adult books by Cassandra Clare.

I had to save the best for last. Shadowhunters is one of the best shows to have ever been created and though the show has been cancelled in 2019, it still remains as my top show. The show as stated in the description follows Clary, who always believes she was normal until her 18th she begins to see things that she never did. Her mother had always tried to shield her from her future but even then, her real destiny was always bound to happen one way or the other. So she decides to learn everything that there is to know about the shadow world. And she drags her childhood best friend, Simon, along the way.

The show also depicts what we face everyday from discrimation to politics. It has everything that the real world is dealing with right now. I highly recommend watching this as well if your joy angst, love, fantasy and a little bit of politics.
