I love watching movies. We should always learn something every day, whatever it may be, to keep our brains healthy and youthful, as well as to make watching movies more enjoyable. In some cases, watching movies can be a wonderful distraction from all that is going on in life for a few hours. So with that said, here are my top ten fav movies.

1. Encanto - Disney's Encanto's setting and cultural perspective are both new, but end result is the same, it is enchanting, beautifully animated fun for the whole family. The movie came out in 2021. It is directed by Jared bush and Bryon Howard. It is staring, are Stephanie Beatriz, Maria Cecilia Botero, Diane Guerrero and Angie Cepeda. I have seen this movie with my goddaughter, and she absolutely loved it just as much as I did.

2. To All the Boys I've Loved Before - In this story, a teenage girl's secret love letters are exposed, causing her love life to go awry. The movie came out in 2018. Its genre is romance, drama and comedy. It was directed by Susan Johnson. It stars, Lana Condor, Noah Centenio and Janal Parish. I could literally watch this movie over and over again. I loved this movie and all three parts of it. It is just a movie that makes you feel good and laugh.

3. The Kissing Booth - During a kissing booth encounter, a high school student has the opportunity to confront her secret crush. Its genre is drama, comedy and romance. It came out in 2018 and is directed by Vince Marcello. It stars, Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney. This movie is just fun to watch, it makes you laugh and cry. It stars, Addison Ray, Tanner Buchanan, and Maddison Pettis. This movie is the remake of “She All That”. Its genre is comedy and romance. Really enjoyed this film, it was funny and romantic.

5. Love Hard - Despite being unlucky in love, a LA girl falls for a guy from the East Coast on a dating app and decides to surprise him for Christmas, only to find out that the guy has catfished her. Her attempt to reel in love is chronicled in this lighthearted romantic comedy. The movie came out in 2021. The genre is comedy and romance. It is directed by Hernan Jimenez. It stars, Nina Dobrev, Jimey O yang, and Darren Barnet. I liked this movie not only cause its funny but, also as a great Christmas movie.

6. The Lion King - The young lion prince flees his kingdom after his father is murdered only to discover the true meaning of responsibility and bravery. Its genre is animation, adventure and drama. It was released in 2019 and it was a remake of the 1994 film. It is directed by Jon Favreau and stars, Donald Glover, Beyonce, and Seth Rogan. This movie was great to watch and made me cry.
