I noticed there at the beginning of December there is always a ton of Christmas movies that fill streaming services every year, But as far as anime goes there aren't many fully dedicated to the Christmas season. So I decided to go through a bunch of anime series I've seen and find each of the Christmas or holiday episodes.

I'll give you a little info on each with the Christmas/Holiday episode and the storyline of the anime if you wanted to see if it's something you want to watch. I have written full reviews on some of the anime so I will link those below as well.

You can either binge the series or just watch the episodes I listed to get into the Holiday spirit. These aren't in any order. All of the anime listed below I have seen and would recommend watching it.

20. Azumanga Daioh

Storyline: Ten-year-old genius Chiyo, animal-loving Sakaki, loudmouth Tomo, athletic Kagura, weight-conscious Yomi, and dim-witted Osaka are six friends who share laughs, good times, and a high school homeroom. With scary (and sometimes perverted) teachers, school festivals, penguin suits, and general hilarity abounding, you can be sure that there's never a dull day in the life of one of these students!

"En Route on the Sloped Road" Season 2 Episode 9

Storyline: Summer break is now over; the second semester has started for Tomoya, Nagisa, and the others, and little has changed. Since Tomoya's relationship with his father is still troubled, he continues to live with Nagisa and her family, even if it means getting roped into organizing a baseball team for the family bakery. Life at school continues as normal with Sunohara as carefree as ever; however, when his sister Mei voices her concerns about him, the series of events that follow place a strain on Sunohara and Tomoya’s friendship. Whether it's saving a person from themselves or passing on a message from the past, one thing’s for sure: no matter how tough things get, good friends will always be there to help out.

"Christmas!" Episode 7

Storyline: It's the first day of high school, and plenty of school clubs are doing their best to recruit new members. However, for ditzy Yui, none of them seem to fit the bill. However, when she accidentally signs up to join the light music club, Yui begins a hilarious adventure to become a world-class guitarist! There's just one problem: she's never played the guitar before in her life! Joined by bassist Mio, drummer Ritsu, and keyboardist Tsugumi, Yui and the gang will juggle their studies with buying instruments, learning how to read music, and even performing in the school festival, all in the hopes of someday becoming a successful band!

17. Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan

"Recent Young Child" Episode 9

Storyline: Uramichi is 31 lives a lonely life with no wife or kids, has to deal with production hassles from unknowing or uncaring staff, and still has to give a good smile to the children every day... Uramichi appears on children’s TV alongside two grown men dressed as forest creatures and a singing woman with a very short fuse. Uramichi leads little kids in exercises and answers their questions about life. But Uramichi’s life is pain. Uramichi just wants to be miserable in peace. But, in his words, “There are games that don’t end even after you forfeit. Like life, for example… ”

16. Lucky Star

Storyline: In present-day Japan, the life of a schoolgirl is never dull. The easily-bored Konata never finds time to study because of her otaku habits, which frustrates hard-working Kagami to no end. On the other hand, laid-back Tsukasa always manages to go with the flow, while Miyuki is concerned with keeping her status as a resident know-it-all. Join these four girls as they muse and meander their way through everyday events such as eating chocolate cones, doing homework, gaming, and trips to the beach galore.

15. Rent-A-Girlfriend

Storyline: In Japan, the lonely have a new way out — online services that rent out dads, children, and even girlfriends! But she wants to keep their "relationship" a secret, and there's a complication... she goes to his university... and their grandmothers are in the same home... and they live next door to each other?! And Kazuya finds out she's not nearly as nice in "real life"...

Kirito is one such gamer who's eager to jump back into action, having spent a great deal of time as a beta tester, and quickly becomes friends with newbie warrior Klein. But soon, Sword Art Online's 10,000 players discover that not only are they unable to log out, but the only way they can return to their physical bodies is also by beating the 100-level tower's final boss - that is, if their HP doesn't drop to zero first, for death in the game means death in the real world. Now, with no one else to turn to, Kirito and the other participants must survive the game as best they can – some forming guilds, others ruthlessly leaving their peers behind, and many tragically falling by the wayside or to the merciless monsters populating the lands...

Storyline: Impassive girl meets troublemaker in a brand new love story! After Mizutani Shizuku, a girl whose sole interest is studying is asked to deliver some handouts to Yoshida Haru, a boy who hasn't come to school after spilling blood on the first day, she finds herself the target of his affection. This is a story about a boy and a girl who struggle with love and friendship. Opening yourself up to other people forces you to be honest with yourself.

Storyline: Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for the fact that Taiga and Ryuuji have crushes on the other's good friend! With school rumors abounding, the duo must now work together to play matchmaker for each other. Who will end up with their true love?

11. Komi can't communicate

"It's just a Merry Christmas" Season 2 Episode 16

Storyline: An absolute beauty to anyone, Shouko Komi in reality suffers from extreme social anxiety and communication problems, making her largely unable to talk to others. However, with her attractiveness and stoic appearance, which in itself results from her anxiety, she is perceived as refined in class, making her highly popular while preventing people from actually getting to know her. Komi's first conversation with Tadano is over a blackboard, and she uses a notebook to convey her feelings through writing. Despite this, she is still capable of verbal conversation over a cell phone. Her dream is to overcome her communication problems and make 100 friends.
