Hold on to your skulls, 'cause things are about to get messy in the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead. Reports are emerging that AMC has extended from its usual 60-minute runtime, to a gore-splattered 90-minute extravaganza. So what does this mean? Even more blood and guts for us to sink our teeth into.
One keen Redditor noticed that on April 3, Talking Dead would be airing at 10:30 p.m. instead of its usual 10 p.m. time slot. It was later backed up by Facebook page The Spoiling Dead, which also stated it was 99 percent sure of this extended runtime and that the finale would be titled "Last Day On Earth." Both facts were expected to be confirmed on Sunday night's episode of Talking Dead.
Gearing up to be the most epic finale ever, we are not only promised the salivating arrival of comic book supervillain Negan, but a finale which left one cast member "speechless." And in more morbidly exciting news, it is expected that we will also see the loss of at least one big player within this 90 minutes of epic glory.
With only two episodes left, there isn't much of a wait to find out who will lose a life at the hands of Negan; the only worry is that we will be left with a cliffhanger to see who doesn't make it to Season 7 alive. Could The Walking Dead pull a Game Of Thrones on us, meaning it will be October before we find out who dies?

The Pearl by John Steinbeck
‘The Pearl’ is a well-known by under-read classic and, as a teacher, many of my students have absolutely loved it. Not just because it is short, but because it presents a storyline that is interesting and corrupting. Easy to read and easier to analyse, ‘The Pearl’ is one of Steinbeck’s hardest hitting classics with an underlying message about protecting what is actually important. By the end of the book, the reader is left defeated and believing in the wrong thing. The idealism around this book is incredible and it is so dark too. For a long while you are supporting the wrong people, thinking in the wrong way and the whole story becomes one long act of misdirection by Steinbeck to show in a ‘Monkey’s Paw’ fashion why we should never chase wealth and status.

Book Review: "Limitarianism" by Ingrid Robeyns
I was seeing this book everywhere on the Penguin Books Twitter page and on news websites regarding newly released nonfiction. Had I ever wanted to read a book about economic inequality? No. Why? I'll be frank. I find it difficult to understand economic jargon. So again, I have had to sit with Google open in order to look up things I don't fully understand. In this relatively short book, the author seems to go through many ideas about how 'limitarianism' could work and basically makes a great case against having a large sum of wealth which could in turn, increase economic inequality. Let's take a look at some of the main talking points and what I thought of them.
