Netflix has released the official trailer of the Movie "The Night Agent" a new thriller series based on the novel by Matthew Quirk. The show, created by Shawn Ryan with MiddKid Productions, stars Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan, among others.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the story of Peter Sutherland (Basso), a low-level FBI agent who is tasked with manning an emergency telephone in the White House basement.

The Story

Peter Sutherland becomes an unexpected hero when he saves hundreds of people during a train ride.

He discovers a bomb that had been planted on the train and manageed to guide the passengers to safety in the nick of time.

As a result of his bravery, Peter lands a job at the White House. However, he is relegated to answering an emergency phone that never rings.

His sole responsibility is to redirect essential calls to the team that is actually charged with solving problems.

One night, Peter receives a call from a desperate civilian named Rose Larkin (Buchanan), who is being attacked by a masked killer.

Peter rushes to her home and saves her.

From that moment, he is assigned to protect her at all costs while getting embroiled in a deep conspiracy involving powerful individuals within the White House. Peter and Rose must fight for their lives as assassins follow them everywhere they go.
