Eventually, the group comes up with what seems like their best plan.

If they cannot call the police, they can activate the fire alarm.

A fire alarm should automatically attract emergency services to the building.

If firefighters arrive, the survivors could finally escape.

Alex goes to activate the alarm.

But once again, separating from the group has deadly consequences.

Mickey attacks another friend right in front of her.

The survivors then receive instructions to move toward the roof, believing emergency services may soon arrive.

Instead of becoming safer, their journey through the arcade turns into another bloodbath.

One woman is injured in the leg.

Another member of the group is brutally killed.

The number of survivors continues shrinking.

Alex Finally Understands Mickey’s Weakness

After watching Mickey closely, Alex finally understands exactly how his supernatural ability works.

Mickey can seemingly teleport around the arcade.

However, bright flashlight beams interfere with him.

This discovery gives the remaining group their first real opportunity to fight back.

Instead of simply running, they can potentially use light as a weapon.

The problem is that Mickey is learning too.

Every encounter makes him more dangerous.

When another friend bravely confronts him, Mickey kills them as well.
