Actor Sam Heughan is the most busy actor I ever learned about. He's not an ordinary actor, he is modest, giving back to humanity.

On April 30th, 1980, the amazing model and actor Sam Heughan entered the world. His hometown is Balmaclellan village the stone houses with on slit roofs overlook the Galloway Hills.

Going from school to school as a kid, he spent two years traveling and working before attending the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow graduating in 2003. During his schooling, he performed several plays falling in love with acting. In 2002, Heughan was on of four students to be chosen for the BBC Carlton Hobbs radio talent competition. He was represented by RSAMD.

After being casted as Jamie Fraser in the iconic Time-travel Outlander series by the famous Diana Gabaldon she was very impressed by this actor. She said herself, who said, “That man is a Scot to the bone and Jamie Fraser to the heart. Having seen Sam Heughan not just act, but be Jamie, I feel immensely grateful to the production team for their painstaking attention to the soul of the story and characters.”

In 2014, the independent this great actor, Heughan appeared in the psychological thriller called Emulsion. I never saw this film which was highly disappointing for me.

In 2018, the best movie I ever saw was called The Spy Who Dumped Me.

In addition to acting, Heughan is a model for the English clothing line Barbour.

In 2014, Heughan was very vocal in support of making Scotland independent from Great Britain, going on documentation, “I was a no and thought independence wasn’t a good idea initially, but then I did a 180 and towards the end became quite vocal in the Yes campaign. I thought that ultimately it was a move towards more democracy for the people of Scotland.”

Heughan is a major Philanthropist giving back to the world, he is very generous in charities.

In 2015, he formed the My Peak Challenge to bring everyone all over the world into a community where people can reach their personal goals in weight loss. The MPC supports the Leukemia Lymphoma Research, Bear Strength Clothing and Fight Camp Glasgow which raises money for cancer research. In 2019, he partnered up with Omaze in a raffle to win a date with him and escorted to the MPC gala which raised $2,892,080.00 for Bloodwise UK.

He is President of Bloodwise UK

Did you know that Sam Heughan: (some quotes)

1: "You do have to learn how to wear a kilt, and it’s certainly very liberating and very freeing, but surprisingly very comfortable to wear, to ride a horse in a kilt. I was surprised by that."

2: "I auditioned for ‘Game of Thrones’ seven times! Loads of times."

3: "I actually got an initial sense of how big ‘Outlander’ was going to be on Twitter. We’re all there to help promote the show and also interact with the fans."

4: "My accent is… sort of an Edinburgh sort of soft southwest Scottish accent. It could almost be English."

5: "I’m obsessed with the moon and space travel, so if I could incorporate that, I’d love to go to space."

Can you imagine Sam, in space ladies, and gents!

6: Shakespeare's language is fantastic, and to be honest, you don’t need to do anything to Shakespeare.

Oh god ladies he isn’t just handsome he is a nerd as well. Yes, Sam Heughan is my celebrity crush. Me and every woman or man on this earth.

He is a handsome man but under that he is a nerd hidden behind all of that.
