The 'Happy Days' Gang Gathers To Say Goodbye To Erin Moran

On Tuesday, May 2nd, several of the stars from Happy Days reunited at an informal memorial service for Erin Moran, the actress who played Joanie Cunningham for 10 years on the long-running 1950s sitcom. The gathering took place at Marion Ross' Woodland Hills, California home, which is appropriately known as the "Happy Days Farm."
Scott Baio, who played Chachi Arcola, posted a photo of the group, which included Marion Ross, Ron Howard, Don Most, Anson Williams and Cathy Silvers.
The actors shared stories and memories of Moran to honor her life. It was a fitting end to a life cut too short by cancer.
Marion Ross, who played matriarch Marion Cunningham, shared her grief in a press statement shortly after Erin's death:
"I’m just heartbroken about Erin. She was a wonderful smart young girl on ‘Happy Days’ ... so talented! My heart aches for this loss."
I imagine there are many hearts that are aching now. Erin Moran was a bright star whose light was extinguished too soon.
