Catch-up on The Flash, Season 2.

At the end of the episode, Barry returned to his own time with the Speed-Force equation in hand, intent on stopping Zoom(Hunter Zolomon). The confrontation between Barry Allen and Zoom has been built up for the entirety of the season, Zoom has been whipping Barry Allen left and right, but now Barry Allen/The Flash has a way to beat Zoom. Episode 18: Versus Zoom' is going to conclude Barry Allen's fight with Zoom/Hunter Zolomon. The promos for the episode have suggested that Barry Allen will catch Zoom/Hunter Zolomon and have him detained at S.T.A.R. Labs.

Episode 18: Versus Zoom' and Episode 19: Back to Normal' information revealed.

Aside from the promos for Episode 18: Versus Zoom' giving away details on Barry's race with Zoom, there's also the matter of Episode 19: Back to Normal. We'll get back to the title of the episode later, but details on the episode have already been confirmed to consist of a new villain showing up in Central City. According to www.Designtrend.com, Meta-human Griffin Grey(played by actor, Haig Sutherland) will be the newest threat to Central City. He'll begin his disastrous rampage by capturing Harrison Wells of Earth-2, believing Harrison Wells to be the Dr. Wells of Earth-1. Sutherland's character of Griffin Grey is believed to capture Harrison Wells to have Wells cure him of the meta-human part of him. Grey believes Harrison Wells can cure him because Harrison Wells of Earth-1 was held responsible for the Particle Accelerator explosion which created all the meta-humans in Central City.

Implications of Episode 19 on Episode 18: Versus Zoom' conclusion

The information on Episode 19: Back to Normal' indicates that Barry Allen/The Flash will be done dealing with the Zoom' dilemma before the end of Episode 18: Versus Zoom'. Not to mention the title of Season 2, Episode 19 is titled 'Back to Normal'. The title itself says something is going back to normal, which in the best case scenario means that Barry Allen and Team Flash have defeated Zoom/Hunter Zolomon, and their everyday lives are 'back to normal'. Life has been hard for Team Flash throughout Season 2, and the defeat of Zoom would draw up the tone of life getting 'back to normal' once Hunter Zolomon's reign of terror is over. It's more than plausible that Barry Allen/The Flash will be done with Zoom at the end of Episode 18: Versus Zoom' mainly because Barry's obtained the equation to the Speed-Force which'll allow Barry Allen to surpass Zoom without the manufactured Velocity-serum. And we've also seen Barry Allen/The Flash holding Zoom/Hunter Zolomon in S.T.A.R. Labs.
