The Best Rated TV Show Series Of All Time

Did you ever think Youtube would meet reality television? Everyone who has a tv or internet connection has heard of Real Housewives. And if you haven't what are you waiting for? This series no matter which city you watch is jam packed with a ton of entertainment and a good laugh for sure.

Each series follows a well off substantial group of women as they socialize and cope with life's struggles. The franchise originated with The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2006, and expanded into 10 other cities over in the U.S. Orange County did so well that they expanded their franchise around the United States.

Following The Real Housewives of Orange County there were nine more that took off to do insane unheard of numbers and people all over were hooked. There were even disputes and outrage over some housewives on the show getting paid 1 million dollars in varies cities.

In chronological order the next cities to launch were New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, D.C., Beverly Hills, Miami, Potomac, Dallas and last but certainly not least Salt Lake City.

I was one who watched the first ever show of the Real Housewives franchise that kicked off in Orange County. But it seemed as the show ventured out into other cities it just kept getting better.

When New York City released I quickly fell in love. Not just because its my city but because of Bethenney Frankel, a hilarious, firecracker, straight shooter who was quick on her toes with her jokes and one-liners. To me she made the show. I'm always drawn to those who are true star quality and who commands attention and holds her own. Being from New York you grow up knowing how to be present while present. She grew up faster than she should of and was exposed to things. Her and her mom were estranged. At an early age she saw drug users abuse her mom. I liked her story because she became a successful mogul after sleeping on her friends couch on season one and was a new upcoming Chef.

My mom noticed that it was a guilty pleasure of mine when I used to have her order me the dvd's and binge watch past seasons when the season ended. I would sit for hours and binge watch what became my favorite city.

In March of 2008 RHONY started. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better. Seven months later In October of 2008 they added Atlanta to the Franchise. The first season was so good it was addictive. How could this be? Another epic city that i soon had to add to my roster.

 The Real housewives of Atlanta was taken very far by Nene Leakes and Kandi (from the R&B group Xscape). 13 seasons filled with laughter, drama, vaacation trips, milestones and boss women making it big and paving the way in their hometown. I lived for their beautifully put together lavish 5 star vacays around the world. Kandi actually met her future husband on a trip one year and had no idea at the time.

Fast forward to 2021.

Youtube has grown so much in the last decade with known influencers vlogging their life. Some people who have 1 million to 5 million followers are becoming household names. Some of which are branching off into T.v. I knew it was only a matter of time when popular Youtubers would make the switch into t.v and movie roles because some of them are actually multi-talented.

One of the women I want to talk about joined The RHOA cast in 2020 known as Latoya Ali. She is a Trinidadian Youtuber who was born and raised in Canada, she wrote a book and toured around the world and started a fitness channel. She is married to Adam Ali. They have three beautiful children together. Their channel was built on Latoya's in your face personality, and Adams laid back style. She started her channel doing comedy skits.

I remember the first video I saw of Latoya, Adam took her to Dubai. The video had over 250,000 views and I thought to myself who is this couple and what is this channel about. I called up my best friend who was stationed in Japan with her husband.

I casually asked her who is Latoya Forever and she said, 'oh i like her channel she is funny and boughetto. " I laughed so loud because I did get that vibe from her in the video. She wasn't accustomed to the culture in Dubai and was a bit irritated when they said people get fined for kissing in public.

Latoya and Adam announced that they were building a house in Atlanta. About 2 years ago they moved from Canada with their children and decided to pursue her dreams of living in the states because she said, she didn't want to spend another winter in a cold climate. Immediately speculation spread through the internet. There were tons of comments and videos being made that Latoya moved there because she was going to be on The RHOA.

After about a year of denying the rumors Latoya people started to believe it was true and Latoya must be under contract and couldn't talk about it. The reason is because one day Kandi had Latoya on her Youtube channel and interviewed her. Latoya began posting pictures hanging out with Kandi and being invited to some of the events that were given by those in Kandi's circle of friends ( friends who were castmates of RHOA). WHEW!!! I know it's alot. Just keep following for the plot twist.

There were a few signs that lead subscribers to believe there was trouble on the home front. The first sign was when Latoya and her family's channel name to Sam and the fam (Their oldest daughters name is Samia, but Samia already had her own channel so it seemed strange).

Then Adam came out with a video to give his side and titled the video, " Divorce". That day the Youtube streets went in a uproar. But then a picture of the Ali's and the Tuckers surfaced.

Almost 2 million subscribers were shell shocked. Everyone's household had the same scenario happen all over the world...Tee tee called Keisha, Lisa, her sister, auntie and whoever else she could think of to tell them her favorite couple is splitting up and to make matters worse, they're getting a divorce. How could this be true? They moved to a new country and Latoya just had baby number three a few months earlier.

I was confused also thinking is this real or maybe its just a storyline for her to be on RHOA. It definitely made sense to me and all the tea pages who posted videos following Adam's video. Bad enough we had to deal with Ms. Rona shutting down the world. But that wasn't it. Two months later Latoya made a video on her channel titled "SEPERATION."

This Summer of 2020 as the new cast was announced there was also a sneak peak video that followed. Low and behold who did we see in the first 5 minutes of the video clip, none other than Ms Latoya Forever herself. I can't even lie, I side-eyed that screen so fast as if It was someone I knew in real life.

The next day it was front news on The Shade Room. Everyone's speculations were true. Her fans are smart and put two and two together as fast as lightning. Now her and her husband are separating and co-parenting. But it was one hell of a ride.

Many wanted to exit stage left, because they are so invested in content creators lives and it was becoming draining. It definitely kept us on the edge of our seats all Summer. I guess we'll have to wait and see. No matter how much drama involved we will all be glues to the screen to see how it all unfolds. Secretly I know you will be too!
