As the superhero team of Avengers is growing at a fast pace since the year 2008 with the introduction to Iron Man, the Marvel Cinematic Universe also becomes larger. The Avengers: Civil War is set to have one of the most star-studded casts that a superhero movie has come to see, ever. Everyone knows that the original Avengers consists of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and the Hulk, but as we are introduced to more superheroes and other assets to the Avengers team, we are introduced to more opportunities for movies.

Yet some of the new additions to the Avengers already come from their own Marvel Comic Universe films. So who exactly from the universe that we have already met in their own films are going to be featured in The Avengers: Infinity War? First off we have the mysterious Doctor Strange, who premiered in his character titled film Doctor Strange, which was met with mixed reviews. One of the larger and seemingly more important additions to the team in the film is the Guardians from their two hit Guardians of the Galaxy movies. The Guardians will be bringing along a few new members from their gang of friends, or misfits if you will, like Mantis and Nebula. Another great addition to this superhero team is going to be Ant-Man. We learned from the film Ant-Man and Captain America Civil War that this hero can be a big impact despite his small size. Finally, we have the new and improved Spider-Man who we first met in Captain America Civil War. But most important to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is which of these superheroes and which new heroes will be getting their own movies to work on their own, be in their own environment, and fight crime against their very unique villains.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Swinging from a web to a theater near you, one of the new additions to the Avengers team is Spider-man. The third film to drop from the heroes franchise, Spider-Man: Homecomingreleasing summer of 2017 will feature Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. We first saw Holland show off his web slinging skills in Civil War but not we get to see his true acting skill in his own superhero movie. He does not stand alone in this movie, as we have previewed a little help here and there from Robert Downey Jr. fulfilling his role of Iron Man. With this supporting role from Downey Jr. and the unknown character that will be played by Donald Glover, more popularly known as Childish Gambino, there is no telling what is to come from Marvel's new movie. After the crash and burn of both of the Amazing Spider-Man films produced by Sony Pictures, Sony was forced to split the rights of Spider-Man with Marvel Studios. Hopefully Marvel will turn around our hero's reputation as their version of Spider-Man gets his own movie.

Thor: Ragnarok

Chris Hemsworth turns Thor into a trilogy with the help of Marvel and the Hulk. The teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok has released and features the big green monster himself, the Incredible Hulk. It is a very interesting sight seeing our buff hero seem as if he had been captured in the trailer, but it puts the interest in the audiences head enough so they'll go out and see this film. We are also shown the return of Thor's brother, Loki played by Tom Hiddleston, who seemed to be brought back Asgard, their home planet, and held captive. With many exciting possibilities and cameos in this film, I am sure that it will be a hit in the box office.

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Anyone who is a fan of Paul Rudd can agree that Ant-Man (2015)was a formula Rudd movie, with hilarious puns and a heartfelt overall theme. While some Marvel fans did not agree with the quality of the film, it is most likely due to it not being your typical big superhero movie. Just because this hero has an unique character evolution does not mean that the films quality should be treated any different. The end of the film teased a second movie, including a character hinted at as the Wasp. Well apparently Marvel wanted to try out this hero a little bit more before committing to a second Ant-Man film, by featuring him in Captain America: Civil War. Rudd is set to return in The Avengers: Infinity War, buthe will also be staring along side Evangeline Lilly playing the Wasp as these superheroes will be getting their own movie.

Black Panther

Oh am I excited for this film, as the trailer has many Marvel Cinematic Universe fans ready for this action packed new hero film. We first meet the Black Panther, yet another new character from this film, in Captain America: Civil War. When the character watches his father die in this movie, we see his character in a calm rage that would like to avenge his fathers death. At the end of the film we also see Captain America and Panthers alter ego T'Challa hiding the Winter Soldier in the Black Panther's secret lair, teasing us that we will see him getting his own movie. Before we see the Black Panther fighting on his own turf, he will return to action in The Avengers: Infinity War.

Captain Marvel

This is going to be one of the larger reveals in The Avengers: Infinity War, as we will be meeting Brie Larson in the role of Captain Marvel! Thats right, a brand new hero never seen before in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be in the up coming Avengers film and is already set to star in her own superhero movie titled Captain Marvel. As we do not know much about this character in the cinematic world, what we do know from past Marvel comics and animation series is that she is said to be an ex air-force pilot who was at the top of her class and recruited by agent Nick Fury. Marvel fans are awaiting in anticipation to see how Captain Marvel gets tied into the upcoming Avengers film, and to see how the universe teases her to star in her own film.

Marvel Movies Are Here to Stay

With the Marvel Cinematic Universe introducing us to new superheroes in almost every film that they release, it does not seem that we will be missing our beloved heroes any time soon. In fact, The Avengers: Infinity War is going to be filmed as a two part movie. With an abundant amount of heroes and loads of action, you cannot fit everything in the storyline into just one film. Marvel Cinematic Universe is booked with the films above up for three to four years, giving the audience exactly what they want, more superhero films!
