These are great days to be an #XMen fan. In 1982, Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod created the next generation of the X-Men: the teenage New Mutants. Decades later, these young heroes are finally coming to the big screen in Josh Boone's New Mutants, due for release April 13th, 2018. But who are the New Mutants? What comic book tales could be adapted for these characters?

Few characters have stood the test of time like Sherlock Holmes. I've loved Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories since childhood; one of my proudest possessions is a 1928 collected edition of his short stories. And so when I first heard of the CBS series Elementary, I freely admit that I reacted with derision.
The Season 4 finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was one wild ride, pitting our favorite spies against the threat of Aida. Fans were thrilled to see the return of Gabriel Luna's Ghost Rider, while the closing scenes set up an intriguing arc in space! What you may not have noticed, though, is that there's one other loose thread — the thread of the Watchdogs...
2017 is set to be a big year for Marvel Television. The studio is working on not two but three Netflix series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 is proving to be a hit, and The Inhumans is about to start filming in Hawaii. Meanwhile, the Cloak and Dagger series — which has been stuck in development since April 2016 — is about to become a reality!
Launching in 2013, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was the first #Marvel television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's an epic spy drama, starring a small team who are dedicated to protecting the world at all costs. Although the show had something of a rocky start, a smart tie-in with Captain America: The Winter Soldier transformed the first season. Since then, it's gone from strength to strength!
"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
It's a good year to be an X-Men fan! Marvel and Fox are working together more closely than ever before, leading to not one but two ongoing #XMen-inspired shows. The first, Noah Hawley's #Legion, was a dramatic series loosely based on the comic-book character of David Haller, Professor Xavier's son. The second, The Gifted, looks very different indeed...
Note: This article contains heavy spoilers for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4's penultimate episode, "The Return". The dearly-loved "Agents of Hydra" arc is coming to an end! Our heroes have returned to the real world, but Aida has come with them, courtesy of Project Looking Glass. No longer is Aida an android — she's now flesh and blood. But, of course, Aida chose to make herself a body that is infinitely beyond the norms of mere humanity....
With Marvel's Inhumans due out later this year, fans have been eagerly awaiting news about one of Marvel's most groundbreaking projects. As the months have passed, we've finally gotten a cast, and set photos are beginning to emerge from Hawaii. But here's the interesting question: Why has Marvel set up shop on Oahu, one of the Hawaiian Islands?
The more things change, the more they stay the same. The "Agents of #Hydra" arc is coming to a close, with (most of) our favorite agents returning to the real world. But they've arrived to a status quo that will seem amusingly familiar to fans — Our favorite agents are on the run, hunted as traitors and publicly condemned as potentially dangerous terrorists.
The last leg of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 has plunged us into the Framework: a twisted virtual reality created by the arcane science of the Darkhold. It's a world in which Hydra won, and where Aida has positioned herself as Madame Hydra, supreme ruler of the Planet Earth. We're only two episodes into the 'Agents of Hydra' pod, and already, our heroes have been exposed. But rumbling in the background, 'Identity and Change' dropped a tantalizing — and terrifying — hint...
Sometimes it seems as though Fox can't make up their minds. Back in August 2016, we were told that the Legion TV series - potentially the most exciting and creative comic-book-series to date - would be part of the same universe as the X-Men movies. Now, in an interview with CBR, executive producer Lauren Shuler Donner has revealed that's not the case after all!
