Prince Nikolas finds his Cinderella on ‘General Hospital’
In the midst of all the choas and death on General Hospital, a fairy tale of sorts. has been taking place. It began during thr masked ball at the Metro Court on Halloween night 2019. That is was when Nikolas Cassadine pulled Ava Jerome from the freezing water after Valentin tried to send her to her death. Some viewers knew then that all would be forgiven between these two, but it took an entire year to get them there, there. On Friday’s episode the duo admitted their love for one another and it truly was the stuff that romance novels are made of. Ava explained to her prince how she chose him over her brother Julian and that made all the difference.

General Hospital viewers knew it was was inevitable that in the aftermath of the Coronavirus some cast members would be cut. It had been reported that COVID-19 restrictions and precautions were expensive so naturally budgets would be affected. Fans of the ABC daytime drama were shocked however at the way the executives went about making changes. Five cast members are out and now ABC has fired two executives who had a hand in daytime programming. This will surely make a difference in what viewers see going forth in Port Charles.

General Hospital viewers were distraught when Max Gail’s character Mike Corbin died. Sonny's father grew on those who watch the ABC daytime drama and they loved the way he interacted with the Corinthos clan. Everyone knew the Alzheimer's storyline had to come to an end, but no one was ready when the time came. Viewers were thankful for the additional scenes where Sonny and other characters had daydreams about Mike and what life may have been like had he lived. This gave Gail additional time on the screen where he was not confined to his hospital bed.
Cheryl E PrestonPublished 3 years ago in GeeksWhat’s so great about Steven universe?
I know what you’re thinking, “how could a cartoon meant for children possibly be so important?” Well that’s exactly what I’m here to tell you. Steven universe was recommended to me by a friend and I am not going to lie my first impression wasn’t the best. The show starts off with a 12 year old boy that thinks he has magical powers that come from eating icecream. My first thought was that this was just another pointless cartoon for parents to put on to keep their children busy. I decided to keep watching despite my first thoughts. After getting about halfway through the first season (which consists of 72 episodes) I discovered that this was way more than a silly cartoon.
A Filmmaker's Guide to: Denialism
In this chapter of ‘the filmmaker’s guide’ we’re actually going to be learning about literature and film together. I understand that many of you are sitting in university during difficult times and finding it increasingly hard to study and I understand that many of you who are not at university or not planning on it are possibly stuck of what to do, need a break or even need to catch up on learning film before you get to the next level. This guide will be brief but will also contain: new vocabulary, concepts and theories, films to watch and we will be exploring something taboo until now in the ‘filmmaker’s guide’ - academia (abyss opens). Each article will explore a different concept of film, philosophy, literature or bibliography/filmography etc. in order to give you something new to learn each time we see each other. You can use some of the words amongst family and friends to sound clever or you can get back to me (email in bio) and tell me how you’re doing. So, strap in and prepare for the filmmaker’s guide to film studies because it is going to be one wild ride.

When Liam saw what appeared to be Hope kissing Thomas on The Bold and the Beautiful, his first reaction was the wrong one. He should have gone inside the apartment and found out exactly what was taking place. Instead, he ran straight to Steffy and unleashed his rage. They drank Tequilla and ended up in bed together. On Wednesday, Liam ranted and raved against Steffy's brother, blaming Thomas for everything as if he is not responsible for his own decisions. During the conversation, he voiced what he believes is going on with Hope and Thomas.
Cheryl E PrestonPublished 3 years ago in GeeksWill Nikolas decide Julian’s fate on ‘General Hospital’?
William deVry has been as open and honest as he can be with his fans regarding his General Hospital exit. Anyone who follows the actor on Twitter knows that he is engaged with his followers and their Tweets indicate that they love the actor as well as his character. Julian Jerome had grown on the viewers and many have empathy for his plight and his numerous faulty decisions. At the end of Tuesday’s episode, Ava’s brother was lying on the ground in the rain near the Cassadine estate. When one Twitter follower asked if this were deVry's final scene, another answered that Julian is probably alive and won’t exit until Friday.

Serena TorrePublished 3 years ago in GeeksThe "Perfect Harmony" of Music, Feelings, and Cute Ghosts
I'm known for getting extremely attached and emotionally invested in things very quickly and quite often. Whether it's a band, a movie, a book, or a television series, there are some things that infiltrate my heart and remain there while I obsess over them. Recently, the Netflix original series, Julie and the Phantoms has become that obsession. Not only does it follow a beautiful story, have great music and a strong, young female lead (which we all need more of in our lives), but it also includes three musically inclined male ghosts who have made their way into the hearts of girls everywhere - myself included. What was supposed to be a show created for children, quickly became something that made its way onto the screens of women aged 17-30. Three months after it's premiere, it continues to be discussed among those women on all social media platforms and within group chats all over the world. They can't get enough of Julie and her phantoms, and re-watch the series' one season over and over again while they wait for Netflix to announce a second season.

So, what does happen when one of the longest-running shows on television comes to an end? Hurt, anger, and confusion? Happiness or sadness? Perhaps even a mixture of these.
