I think what’s so interesting about this school is the placements they put you in. Once orientation is over they put you in groups based on the forms you fill out at the door. Those forms are just there to ask what your power is, or sometimes powers. You then write your name and walk inside to watch orientation. Once in the groups you show your powers to a school master and they decide where your you fit best. For the first two years of super hero school your in these classes that are designed for your powers. They teach you how to use it, how to control it, and what kind of jobs to expect because of your powers. Because when you are out of here, the mayor gives you the jobs and you go where he says. The more powers the better pay. The last two years you are then placed with other super hero’s and you train to fight each other.

We start with Libby Lawrence also known as Liberty Belle. The character first appeared in the first issue of Boy Commandos in the winter of 1942, after her second appearance she moved to Star Spangles Comics #20 in the spring of 1943 and found her home there through issue #68 in May of 1947. The character fell out of relevance until 1981 when DC published the All-Star Squadron of which Liberty Bell was a founding member of.

Many publishers, writers and creators before the existence of Wonder Woman attempted to appeal to female readers by simply creating female characters without breaking them from the sexist, and misogynistic molds that too often held them. It wasn’t until the creation of Wonder Woman that a more complete view of women was depicted in the comic book universe. Wonder Woman was undeniably a groundbreaking feat for not only comic book films, but for women in film and for the industry as a whole. Every woman I talk to about it had physical and emotional reactions and connections to that film. The beauty and impact of Wonder Woman is going to be very difficult to duplicate but if anyone can do it it's the genius of Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot. Come Christmas Day we will get to experience the heroism of the beautiful Amazonian Princess Diana once again. But before we let the inevitable brilliance of the next chapter for Diana wash over us, let's recap and revisit the first movie and take a deep dive into the new movie’s trailer to piece together what we know about this story before we get the joy of watching it.

Up in the sky, it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a guy in a rainbow morph suit! It can only be: RAINBOW MAN! Rainbow Man leaps through Spectral City, patrolling day or night. Nothing can stop the rainbow warrior! Except, maybe a lack of money. Mark stopped atop a tall building. Right now Rainbow Man wasn’t patrolling for evil-doers, he was patrolling for jobs. He was going to have to get back to work, and Spectral Labs wasn’t looking to be built back up again anytime soon. Being Rainbow Man was great and all, but superheroing doesn’t pay nearly as well as crime does. In fact, he didn’t get paid at all. He and Cynthia were living off her job and his savings. He couldn’t force her to support the both of them forever. He needed to get a job, but not a menial job like a cashier, something more adapted to his skill level. He was a scientist! Scientists need high level jobs. Another time, he’d keep searching anyways.
