Spellbound
Children’s movies have been just delightful the last few years. And one of my favorite young actresses is Rachel Zegler, so when I found out that she was in an animated film, I knew that I was going to have to check it out. Spellbound actually has an incredibly stacked cast and I know no one hires Rachel unless they are going to let her sing. So I am super excited to dive into this animated musical adventure.

Don't Move
I definitely watched more than my normal amount of Netflix films this year and honestly that is because streaming services have really stepped up the amount of original content that they put out. And I feel it is my job as a film journalist to keep a good pulse on the quality of said content so that I can direct people accordingly. I will say that both Netflix and Prime Video seem to be putting a lot of time and effort into romantic comedies. But we have explored a few other genres as well. There have also been a lot of horror/thriller films. Today we are tackling Netflix’s Don’t Move. A film that based on the premise I can’t believe that got an hour and a half out of, let’s see how.

The creature in Alien is nothing more than just that, an ALF. (Alien Life Form). Intellectuals enjoy overcomplicating interpretations of what the Xenomorph could be. Some people could say it represents American fears of foreigners. Okay, but what that overlooks is these creatures are legitimately harming people. It’s not really something to open peoples’ eyes if it turns out that the thing they are using to take a stand against xenophobia when the thing they use as analogies for hate cause damage.The author of this paper prefers to see this alien as nothing more than the alien/ parasite it is. This thing is believed to be the perfect organism. The reason why it is believed to be the perfect organism according to Ash is a ludicrous one. Ash believes that part of its perfecon is because it has no conscience. ‘’I admire its purity. She wants to dance with somebody....
She wants to dance with somebody…. Now there’s a film that passed me by, ‘I wanna dance with somebody’, a story of Whitney Houston. After discovering this fairly recently and neither loving or hating it I realised that parts were gripping, poignant and simply brilliant. This epic, iconic lady who sang with grace making it seem effortless, needs a platform in order to feed the hunger for some kind of truth that demands to be told.
