This series is the culmination of everything that went before, taking what made each era of Godzilla films great. I've said similar things before, and it was true, but it's also true here. Produced by Hollywood, what we have here is what could have gone right with the 1998 film, finally done right. Excellent effects, an outstanding cast, recurring characters, and locales that aren't just (yawn) Japan or the Pacific.

The legacy of the first American Godzilla film is that it showed that yes, CGI can help make a film where Godzilla does more. But it also showed that people wanted to see the real, classic Godzilla, updated for modern times. Thus was born the third period of Godzilla films, which really was a culmination of everything that made the previous two series great: Better effects, ongoing plot and character development, and human characters who weren't annoying throw-away characters you just wanted to fast-forward through.

While few people will want to watch every film in the series, chances are you'll enjoy at least a few of them. Well, I went to watch Himesh Reshammiya starrer the most awaited film of the decade of the century of the universe of the globe Badass Ravi Kumar in the theatre. So look, at the beginning of the picture itself, you are told and shown in big letters that logic is optional, so if the makers themselves are telling you straight away that watch the movie with your knees, then why do you need to think too much, I say don't take your brain with you, keep it at home and just enjoy what you see on the screen.

Wicked: Part One (2024) - Film Review
I first discovered Wicked when I unintentionally picked up a copy of Gregory Maguire's book at the age of fifteen. The dark and bleak perspective on Oz was both striking and surprising, but it didn’t deter me from eagerly reading the rest of the *Wicked Years* saga to find out what happened next. A year later, I saw the stage show in London’s West End, featuring Nikki Davis-Jones as Elphaba, Louise Dearman as Glinda, and Busted’s Matt Willis as Fiyero. I was absolutely enthralled by the musical adaptation. While it was toned down compared to the book, it had a strong script and songs that remain iconic to this day.
