Cosplayer Spotlight: Damoes Blackblood
For the last couple of months, I've interviewed so many cosplayers and their stories have been interesting. Not only that, but I've learned so much about them. I've recently had an opportunity to interview Damoes Blackblood and enjoyed knowing some amazing things about him.

On social media, I get to interact with many cosplayers on either a regular or daily basis. Most of the time, I comment on how much I like their cosplays and seek advice from them. Before I headed off to GlitchCon, I got a chance to interview an amazing cosplayer named Wil Busbee. It was great knowing so much about him and why he's such a great individual.

In the world of cosplay, us cosplayers attend conventions every year and meet people. We get to know more about them and eventually form friendships. In the four years I've been a cosplayer, having that bond with some of the most amazing friends has been remarkable. Cosplay brings people together and allows us to freely express ourselves. I recently had the pleasure of interviewing yet another Power Rangers Facebook group admin. His name is Byakuya Shinriku and I'm proud to call him a friend and also, like a brother to me. It was great to know so much about him and I hope everyone enjoys this interview.

Weeks ago, I had the pleasure of interviewing a fellow admin of a Power Rangers Facebook group. Now, I'm going to introduce everyone to Joseph. He's a die-hard Power Rangers fan, cosplayer, and also an admin for this Facebook group as MMPR White. So I hope you enjoy this interview and by the time you're done reading this, you will leave with a lot of facts about him.

Texx-Man Cosplay: How long have you been a cosplayer and how did it change your life? SLC Green Arrow: Well, I’ve been cosplaying classic Ollie since September of 2016, but growing up in San Diego, we would go to SDCC every summer and dress up every day. It wasn’t really cosplay back then, just something you did for Comic Con.

When pulling up a basic search on roleplay, specifically roleplay online, you may find some negative articles written by concerned parents. In those situations, the parents have every right to be concerned by what goes on anonymously on the web.
Cosplayer Spotlight: Kyle Herron
Texxx-Man Cosplay: How long have you been doing cosplay and how did it change your life? Kyle Herron: September will be my one year anniversary since I started to cosplay. Before this, I was in a deep depression and didn’t want to do anything. I had a small group of friends that I hang and spend time with, but even though I loved them, it was a struggle for me to go visit them. Now, I have a large group of friends and I’m not nearly as depressed as I used to be. I take better care of myself. I’m excited to go do things. All in all, cosplay has made me a better person.

As a cosplayer who's been doing cosplay for almost four years, I have seen some amazing cosplays. Some over the top and others, unique. It's a way to express themselves and feel good in their own skin. I have recently had a chance to interview David Hardamon Jr. Check it out below and I hope you enjoy this.
Mark Wesley PritchardPublished 6 years ago in GeeksCosplayer Spotlight: Shania Durst-Deller
Would you mind telling me a little bit about yourself and how you got into cosplay? Shania: Well, I'm a 25-year-old nursing student here in Benton. I got into cosplay with my husband. We have been married for almost four months; been together for four years. I fought three years of breast cancer and fought losing our first baby. I'm a strong-hearted woman. I've always loved the idea to be different. It's good to be different.
Mark Wesley PritchardPublished 6 years ago in GeeksCosplayer Spotlight: Eric Lenhardt
What excites me as a cosplayer is other cosplayers being creative and coming with the most outstanding cosplays. I regularly leave comments on their photos and share those pictures on social media. Another cosplayer that I had an opportunity to interview recently was Eric Lenhardt. He may be in his 40s, but don't take his appearance and creative side for granted. I see his cosplays on a regular basis on Facebook and Instagram. He has the best ideas and is willing to cosplay as pretty much anybody. So sit back and enjoy this interview.
Mark Wesley PritchardPublished 6 years ago in GeeksCosplayer Spotlight: Matthew Warnock
For the last several weeks, I've interviewed so many great cosplayers and got to know more about them. San Diego Comic Con starts later on this week and I always see potential in all cosplayers. Why, you ask? Because it's great to see them doing amazing things for others. Recently, I got a chance to interview one of my cosplay friends, Matthew Warnock, who I have met at GlitchCon last year and again last November at The Cosplay Con & Anime Experience in North Little Rock, Arkansas. With that being said, I hope you enjoy my interview with him.

Sometimes it gets lonely being one of the few crochet cosplayers (that I know of) down in Atlanta. That's why I drove up to All Star Comic Con in Tysons, VA to meet Scarlet Stitch—another amazing crochet cosplayer! Check out my interview with her as we discuss how she got into crocheting and what led her to make crochet cosplays!
