I Got To Play Every Ubisoft Game at E3 and Here's What I'm Excited About
Another great year for #E3 has come and gone, but I actually got to go to this one — thanks to being part of the Now Loading community. A lot of games were played and a lot of standing in line was done. It was as much an exercise in patience and leg strength as it was a time to get hyped about some of the biggest AAA games and developers.

This is building off of my other article on this years Rhode Island Comic Con out in Providence, RI. If you didn't read the first article on the Convention Click here to brush up on the early developments.
Cosplay ChroniclePublished 6 years ago in GeeksHow Going to A Con Alone To Take Photos Started My Cosplay Photography Adventure
When I was in college, I used to go to cons pretty often. It was mostly an excuse to walk around in a Yukata and utilize its utterly amazing sleeve pockets. Eventually, though, my attendance started to taper off. I graduated and so did my crew, which meant we were off doing our own thing; A few moved out of state, some moved just far enough that regularly hanging out wasn't possible. Either way, we grew up and grew out of that kind of thing. At least that's what I told myself when I finally stopped going. A part of me never stopped liking cons, though. I always loved watching the cosplay music videos and other great content that came from them.

"Where's the love Rhode Island Comic Con" is the question I find myself asking this week as the popular Providence area convention came to a close earlier this past week.
Cosplay ChroniclePublished 7 years ago in GeeksNo Need to Fear!
So you've finally decided to attend a con! Congratulations! Attending a con is a great experience that you never want to forget. But to make it memorable, you have to spend money. Let me repeat that: YOU WILL HAVE TO SPEND MONEY AT THE CON.
Sarah WalkerPublished 7 years ago in GeeksLos Angeles Comic Con Didn't Live Up To Hype Because It Had None
Blizzcon is well underway so a lot of people might have already forgotten that there was a convention in Los Angeles last week. Stan Lee's Los Angeles Comic Con (formerly Comikaze) took over the South Hall of the Los Angeles convention center with the promises of a good time for all. I was lucky enough to attend last year and had a great time so I had high hopes. However, as the convention drew closer, there were some warning sighs that, in hindsight I should have picked up on.

So last weekend, I attended MCM Comicon at the Excel centre in London and of course, it was spectacular! It was a geek's dream! It just gets bigger and bigger every year, which is amazing. This year, Marvel was the biggest hit of the con; covering about 30–40 percent of the centre. There were statues such as Iron Man, the Hulk, Spiderman, Groot, and much more! I never really checked out the statues as much because I was too busy at the food stalls! There were also stalls with mystery boxes, shirts, hoodies, keychains, and anything nerdy you can think of. My guilty pleasure was Funko Pops. They're collectable pops that come in various different genres such as movies, TV shows, anime, and video games. I currently own all of the overwatch pops thanks to Forbidden Planet at Comic Con. You should go check them out! They're full of geeky things!

Jacob ElyacharPublished 7 years ago in GeeksAn Afternoon at Alcon's Cosplay Café
Alcon 2017 was my first Alcon. It wasn't the best convention that I've been to, but I can still say that I enjoyed myself. I heard that a lot of people enjoyed the previous versions of Alcon more. Some have vowed never to return. But I will try my best to avoid discussing the AL drama here for the time being.
Chloe GilholyPublished 7 years ago in GeeksComing Soon: New York's Heroes and Villains FanFest
Over the years, there have been many different pop culture and comic book conventions that have gained international attention. NYC Comic Con and Dragon Con, for example, are some of the biggest conventions in the world — and they are, for the most part, geared towards geek culture.
