Memoirs of a Comic Book Dork
When I was a wee lad of around 8, my mother's friend gave me a stack of old comics she had. I was immediately mesmorized by these colorful books with pictures of funny animals and superheroes and all kinds of different characters. I remember some Walt Disney books, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney's Comics and Stories. There were also some Richie Rich, Little Dot, Stumbo, the Friendly Giant and Little Audrey also. But my favorites had to be the hero books, Superman, Batman, Action Comics, Adventure comics with Superboy, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane. There were also some miscellaneous hero books, Sea Devils, Tomahawk, Blackhawk and Mystery Into Space. Best of all of them was the one Marvel comic in the bunch, Sgt Fury And His Howling Commandos! I was hooked!

The next mofo that questions my nerd knowledge and 'tests' me, I'm gonna junk punch until they cry. I was reading a graphic novel outside a theater while waiting for a friend, it was 'Watchmen' my absolute favorite. I've read it ten times and I love it more each time I read it.

Kent BrindleyPublished 3 years ago in GeeksThrifting a Collection of Classics
I have always loved reading. Surprisingly, for a twenty-six-year-old woman, some of my favorite books to read are old, old classics. I've heard Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, a lot of Jane Austen, Wuthering Heights, many Sherlock Holmes books, the Picture of Dorian Gray (and everything else listed below), and this year will be working my way through the Illiad and the Oddesy.

“I. Am. On my fifteenth toy.” “You’re unbelievable.” “Come on,”I pleaded, gesticulating at my amassed collection, “you can’t POSSIBLY tell me these aren’t some beautifully designed figures.”

It was the box that caught my attention. A ‘Sentinel’ Junior Ace First Aid Kit box to be precise. It jumped out from the rest of the paraphernalia on the flea market sellers cluttered tabletop, and I moved to have a closer look.
Digital Card Collections, Movie Libraries & Music
We have seen a surge in digital culture over the last few decades. The birth of the internet has redefined the rules of engagement to a love/hate relationship in our interactions with technology. I say interactions because, let’s be real, we hold full conversations (and arguments) with our technology (looking at you, Alexa). The advance of technology is simultaneous with the extinguishment of archaic (once revered) products and services.

There are 75 people watching this listing on Ebay right now. The question is, are they watching with excitement and open wallett or are they merely looking at it nervously while flipping through their own collection?
Tamas SupertrampPublished 4 years ago in GeeksDeadpool’s Head Review
I dedicate this review to the die-hard Deadpool fans out there. Our favorite foul-mouthed anti-hero never fails to disappoint us. Deadpool’s Head from Marvel Legends and Hasbro is the toy that’ll be worth your while and money. This was released back in late August and it first peaked my interest when PaulStarHero, a cosplayer from the UK, tried it out. It was fascinating and wanted to purchase one for myself. Two weeks later, I bought Deadpool’s Head online from Best Buy. The retail price of it was $99.99. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s not too bad for a toy that costs under $100. That is, if your wallet can afford it. With the COVID-19 pandemic still being present, you definitely need a friend who will keep you company during these stressful and trying times.

The Child, or "Baby Yoda," was absent from the publicity and initial merchandise launch for the new Disney+ show because showrunners Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni did not want to ruin his surprise appearance, as "Star Wars" fans have affectionately called it.
