'Supernatural' Spin-Off 'Wayward Sisters' Cast Members Revealed
The CW recently revealed the cast list for the upcoming 'Supernatural' episode and it looks promising.
For 13 seasons fans have been captivated by the magnificently and delicately crafted world of Supernatural. The show, as many of you know, has been one of The CW's longest running projects, featuring actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles staring as the show's Winchester brothers. The success of the show has now spawned a spin-off series called #WaywardSisters, which will kick off as an episode of the same title within the Supernatural series.
The CW recently revealed the cast list for the upcoming Supernatural episode, and it looks promising! Many fans of #Supernatural will be familiar with one of the main cast members, Kim Rhodes, who plays Sheriff Jody Mills on the show.
Her and her band of troubled young ladies will take on the supernatural forces as they fight back with Mills's training from Bobby Singer and the Winchester brothers will provide these "wayward sisters" with protection as well as training in order to stay alive. During the Supernatural #SDCC panel, the cast was unveiled for fans to take a peek at. The show will feature well known show favorites, as well as a few new members to join the Supernatural family.
Fans can expect to see plenty of Sheriff Jody Mill's, whom is known as the trusted friend and ally for both Sam and Dean. Returning to the set will be the fan-favorite character Sheriff Donna Hanscum (Briana Buckmaster). While Donna is still a rookie at the hunting of supernatural creature, she will be the close friend as well as support system for Jody as her and the girls take on new and dark forces.
Returning to the set as well will be Kathryn Newton as Claire Novak, the daughter of Castiel's vessel (Misha Collins), her character found the life of becoming a new and gifted hunter, albeit she struggles to follow Jody's rule. Additionally, fans will get to see Alex Jones, Jody's foster daughter (Katherine Ramdeen) entering the show. Her character still suffers trauma from the group of vampires she encountered and was rescued from by Sam and Dean Winchester.
Grey's Anatomy actress Loretta Devine will find herself once more in the shows of Missouri Moseley, one that will bee returning for a reappearance in a season thirteen episode, which will be announced at a later date. The newest among these will be Clark Back, who will be taking on the role of new foster child Patience Turner, an over-achiever whom will discover she has psychic powers from her estranged mother, Missouri Moseley.
While the casting choices will certainly leaving us wondering what to expect, we'll find out on Thursday, October 12th, when Supernatural returns to the CW for its 13th season.
