After watching season 2 of the Sunflower series, one name has stuck in my mind: Shashwat Labba. Along with this, a question also remains: who killed Rosie after all? Let us understand both of these things better.

So at the end of Sunflower Season 1, we saw that Sonu had been kidnapped by two people, and the character of Miss Ahuja also seemed to have changed.

Season 2 starts with the entry of a new character, where we see that a girl named Rosie, who is actually a bar dancer, starts living in Mr. Kapoor's flat.

And after a few days, it becomes clear that Mr. Kapoor had transferred his flat to Rosie before his death. After this, the problem for the police increases because now Rosie also has a reason to kill Mr. Kapoor. And Rosie had also come under police suspicion.

According to the police investigation in episode 8th, the secret is revealed: Mr. Kapoor was killed by his wife, who actually wanted to kill Rosie because Mr. Kapoor was having an after-marriage affair with Rosie. And so Mr. Kapoor's wife had given poisoned notes to Rosie, but Rosie gave that money to Mr. Kapoor, due to which he died.

In the last episode of the show, a shocking thing is seen when the police go to Rosie to find out who gave that poisonous note to Mr. Kapoor, and then suddenly Rosie falls from above on the police jeep parked in the society compound. And that's where Rosie dies.

When the police have run away and reached Rosie's room, Sonu is coming out of the washroom. Sonu pretends that he has no idea about Rosie's fall.

At the same time, another team of police goes to Sonu's house to investigate, and the police find some papers in which they see Sonu's real name, Shashwat Labba, written. After knowing this, the police get shocked, and this is where the series ends.

Now the question arises: who is Shashwat Labba, and who killed Rosie? Many people say that it was Sonu who killed Rosie, but why would Sonu do this? He loved Rosie. Let us understand this in more detail.

First of all, if we talk about Shashwat Labba, then in the beginning of the series itself, we saw that when Sonu returns to his home and is opening his old boxes, we see his real name, Shashwat Labba, written in them. And also, there are cuttings of some papers where there is news about a prisoner escaping from a madhouse, to which Sonu's photo is attached, so after seeing all this, it becomes clear that Sonu is Shashwat Labba.

Along with this, one more thing comes to light: Sonu is mentally unstable. Now the question remains: who killed Rosie? As we saw, the ending of the series is open, so only the makers of the series will be able to tell its actual conclusion. For which we will have to wait for Sunflower Season 3, but we have two theories, and after listening to them, you will be able to decide for yourself who is behind Rosie's death.

Theories About Rosie's Death

According to one theory, some people believe Sonu might have killed Rosie. This suspicion arises from a scene where Sonu presents Rosie with a gift hamper containing lipsticks. When she is applying lipstick, Rosie finds its taste strange.

If you watch the show carefully, you will see that after applying lipstick, when Rosie is about to kiss Sonu, he stops her. So there are a lot of chances that the lipstick was mixed with poison, and after applying the lipstick, when Rosie is talking on the phone on the balcony, due to the effect of that poison, Rosie falls from the balcony. But then this question arises: why would Sonu do this? To know this, we will have to go back a few episodes. When Sonu learns that Rosie is a bar dancer, his heart breaks, and maybe Sonu wants to kill Rosie because of this.

If we talk about the second theory, then there are a lot of chances that Sonu's boss is behind Rosie's death because, as we saw, when Sonu's boss comes to know that Rosie or Sonu are going to get married together, So she gets very angry, and that gift hamper with lipstick was also given to Sonu by her boss because she does not want to see Sonu with someone else.

So we can also assume that Sonu's boss gave her the poisonous lipstick that Rosie had applied, and then it became the cause of her death. So these were our two theories regarding Rosie's death. What do you think about this? If you have any third theories, please share them.
