Wally Kurth is excited about his 20th wedding anniversary

Many soap fans are familiar with Wally Kurth because he does double duty on ABC and Peacock (formerly NBC). On General Hospital he portrays Ned Quartermaine who was previously Ned Ashton until he decided to take his maternal grandfather's last name. On Days of Our Lives, he plays Justin Kiriakis the nephew of Victor Kiriakis ( the late John Anniston).

There are times when Kurth can be seen on both shows in the same week but during the past year, he has seemed to be on GH more than DOOL and he is currently in a front-burner storyline on the ABC soap. The veteran actor joined both daytime series in 1991 and has become a fan favorite on each and never missed a beat. He is currently the only soap star who is active in 2 shows at the same time and he does his job well. Kurth recently shared on Instagram that he is celebrating 20 years of marriage to his wife Debra Yuhasz and he couldn't be happier.

Kurth and Yuhasz wrote a song together for GH

Something that fans may not be aware of is that in 2021 on General Hospital when Ned sang a song to his pregnant daughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Sutton) the tune was penned by the actor and his current wife. Yuhasz is a corporate attorney in contrast to her husband's previous spouses who both are actors.

From 1990-1993 Kurth was married to Cynthia Ettinger who is best known for appearing in Smallville. He was married to Rena Sofer from 1995-1997 and GH fans will recall that she portrayed Lois Cerillo who sang with Ned under his stage name of Eddie Maine. They married on-screen and Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is their daughter.

Will Lois return to General Hospital?

When Sofer left her role as Quinn Fuller on The Bold and the Beautiful a number of her fans were hoping she might return to life in Port Charles. Ned recently hit his head and he got amnesia and believes he is actually Eddie Maine which gave fans the hope that he might recall his time with Lois and that this would ensure Sofer would return to General Hospital. During an interview with Soap Opera Digest shortly after leaving B&B Sofer said she would be open to returning to GH if asked.

Wally Kurth is a family man

Wally Kurth has 3 children- he and Sofer share a daughter: Rosabel Rosalind who was born on September 17, 1996. He has another daughter from a previous relationship Meghann Sidney who was born on October 29, 1985, but her mother's name is not listed. The actor has a son Brogan whom he has shared with soap fans is Autistic. This is why he enjoys scenes with his onscreen General Hospital son Leo (Austin Rocket Sweda). Both Leo and Sweda are on the Autism spectrum. There is no record of whether or not Kurth and Debra have children or if she is Brandon's mother.

Wally Kurth says he is looking forward to the next 20 years with Debra and how he and his wife walked down the aisle with love in their hearts when they married and continue on that path today. Obviously, the third time was the charm for the actor and his fans are wishing him all the best. Congratulations to Wally Kurth and Debra Yuhasz on their 20-year wedding anniversary and here's to hoping they get 20 more. Be on the lookout for spoilers and updates related to Ned/Eddie on General Hospital and Justin on Days of Our Lives.
