XoXaan fought during the Hundred-Year Darkness War, but was routed from Corbos, being exiled from the Jedi Order and judged, declared as guilty of High Treason, banished for being a Dark Jedi, and exiled from the Republic.

XoXaan and others found Korriban, the planet you well know to be home to the Sith.

Watch the video below on XoXaan and her life:

The natives at that time were the original Sith species, and they were subdued and enslaved by the Dark Jedi who now declared themselves to be the Lords of the Sith.

Xoxaan and her Lord Sith friends started a religion around the Dark Side of the Force and thus the Sith as you know them were born.

XoXaan was surrounded by a lot of great Sith Lords, but she was noted among them all as a proficient Dark Side Healer.

She had plenty of Dark Side secrets she wanted to pass down, and so she recorded a Holocron and took the artifact with her to her tomb in the Valley of the Dark Lords, like many other Sith Lords in the valley.

She waited in spirit form until a worthy student would come to take her knowledge.

A’Sharad Hett found XoXaan and her Holocron and started learning her teachings. He then became the Dark Lord of the Sith and adopted the name Darth Krayt, a Sith we discussed at length in a video I’m sharing in the description.

Krayt built a huge statue of XoXaan who he considered his greatest Sith Master.

The statue was right in the middle of Coruscant, on the Temple of the Sith.

XoXaan was a Sith Lord who believed the Jedi were flawed and that the truth was hidden deep in the Dark Side of the Force.

She felt that the Galaxy was empty and the Sith Rule would fill that void. She learned to craft Holocrons from the native Sith Species, who were crafting them since King Adas, another Sith I’m linking in the description.

She was a Scholar and knowledgeable on Sith Lore and many Sith studied her knowledge, like the aforementioned Krayt and Darth Wyyrlok III.

She was a Sith Lady of Old, so she used a protosaber with a yellow blade.

Finally, she had the Yoke of Seeming artifact, an item of power that allowed her to take on whatever appearance she wished.

XoXaan's Holocron: Her Legacy to Krayt

XoXaan's holocron, pictured above, was her legacy to someone on the dark side who could tap into it and prove to be worthy of all of the knowledge contained within.

Darth Krayt was the man who eventually became XoXaan's apprentice, even centuries after her death.

This was after the battle of Yavin and after the events of the first trilogy.

Krayt had a massive impact in Star Wars lore and it is no wonder why XoXaan deemed him worthy.

As a curiosity, know that Krayt was afflicted by a parasitic infection not even Xoxaan's dark healing powers could cure - that was even the reason Krayt's right hand man Wyyrlok III analyzed the Holocron so thoroughly.

Darth Krayt Had a Brilliant Future

Krayt, pictured above with the Sith Lady's spirit form, went on to become a very successful Dark Lord of the Sith, being able to conquer the Republic and establish a Sith Empire.

He was the Emperor and serving under him were a lot of widely known Sith Lords such as Darth Talon, Darth Maladi, Darth Wyyrlok III, Darth Nihl and more.

After Krayt was killed by Cade Skywalker, Darth Nihl was the Sith Lord who succeeded him...

...as for many of the others, most went into hiding when Nihl was defeated.
