Rakshak Chapter 2 Review

I guess, friends, it has happened for the first time that part 2 of something has come, but part 1 was a movie and part 2 is a web series. Yes, I am talking about the Rakshak show that has come on mini-TV. The first chapter of this content was a movie, but this time it has been introduced in the form of a web series. So how is this web series? Does it deserve your time? Let's find out.

The story of Rakshak Chapter 2 is based on the life of Naib Subedar Sombir Singh and how security had increased in Jammu and Kashmir after the Pulwama attack and the Defence Minister was going to come there. Now some more test activity was seen, for which the police and army people did a joint operation, and on that you get to see the story of this show.

There are only three episodes of the show, whose length is around 35 minutes, meaning that this web series is quite short and sweet.

Rakshak Chapter 2 Cast

  • Seerat Mast as Tabassum
  • Surbhi Chandna as Alka
  • Barun Sobti as Naib Subedar Sombir Singh
  • Vishwas Kini

Rakshak Chapter 2 Review

Now if I want to review Rakshak Chapter 2 for you in one line, then I will only say that impressive yes, guys, I enjoyed watching this show, and all the things in the show are such that it was quite new somewhere.

First of all, you get to see the politics of the groups of terrorists. Often,  you have not seen this thing in any movie or web series that shows that different terrorist organisations are also having some problems with each other.

The show stays on track without getting lost in unnecessary stuff, which was a plus for me. I really enjoyed the tight and gripping screenplay; it never loses focus and gets straight to the point. It felt just right, keeping me on the edge with its thrilling moments.

The actors really nailed their roles in the show! Barun Sobti was fantastic as always, completely owning his character and keeping the audience engaged throughout. His performance in the last episode was so moving, it's hard not to shed a tear. Surbhi Chandna also did a great job, portraying her role with skill and conviction. She really held her own and delivered a memorable performance.

One great thing about this show is how well each actor nails their character's accent. Barun Sobti, playing a Haryanvi character, really sounded the part, and his on-screen wife did too.

Even the other characters, from different places, had accents that felt real. It shows the team did their homework properly.

This sequel wasn't just made in a hurry. The makers took the time to get the details right for Chapter 2.

Most people probably haven't heard of Sombir Singh Ji, but it's really important to share stories like this. He's a hero who's done a lot for our country, yet his story isn't widely known. I think it's a great idea to highlight these lesser-known heroes.

The background music was okay, and the production value was decent as well.

I think the show could've been better with a couple more episodes. The battle scenes were a bit blurry in parts, with noticeable cuts.

However, given that mini-TV shows are available for free, perhaps we shouldn't be too harsh in our criticisms, wouldn't you say?

It's nice that there's no bad language or adult stuff in the show. It's totally safe for families to watch together.

So, that's what I thought of Rakshak Chapter 2 on Mini TV. If you liked my review, a thumbs-up would be great!
