My Review

The Promo photo of this show is so sick.

The pilot episode so much happens as an OG PLL fan I felt like the writers though I am on the edge of my seat are trying to hard to surpass the original.

If I had to be honest the screenwriters did out do themselves this time.

Who is Angelia? What does she have to do with the next generation being haunted by A.

They keep having flashes of the Y2K party. I look forward to knowing more of what happened.

It looks like Karen is like the Alison DeLaurenti of OG Sin.

This version I noticed is much darker.

The synopsis of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin:

There is a reason why it's called original sin. Five girls go to a Y2K Rave after emotionally torturing one of their own everyone ignores the girl. After which is steps on the rafters asking, "Can you see me now?" instantly she jumps dying. While the leader of the girls Davie is standing there shocked, it flash's 20 years later in Millwood, PA. How does anyone plan a revenge for twenty years?

I have a few points to address a few things that bother me:

1: The trope of the older man from college crushing on his employee from high school: Tabby and Wes seem to have a bit of chemistry or hidden tension though it's unclear to me. Why are you trying to romanticize underage relationships? I will never understand these tropes honestly.

2: Sexualising high school girls: I will never understand this, I mean I know sex sells. But why are you trying to make high school kids look sexy. I don't know if I will ever understand this.

Have you ever heard that saying, "The sins of the father are that of the children."

Well I think this new nemesis is probably very literary smart. Probably lost touch with reality. And someone who is deranged. Everyone will be on the hunt to figure out who this new A is.

One down five to go. -A

Yes, as far as psychological thrillers, and horror goes I've already have my list of theories who A could be. But let's see how the seasons goes, and future seasons go.

I'm beginning to figure out that the new PLL OG Sin is supposed to be defined in the genre Horror, suspense, and psychological thriller. And maybe a pinch of mystery.

The actors portraying all five girls are so excellent makes me proud that this is a great script. So many twists and turns.

The psychological evaluation of A:

Now I know that I am not a psychologist but I've always had a flare for trying to figure people out. Especially in TV shows. This new A is definitely not playing by the old rules. That's the thing about reboots, and sequels they try to always surpass the original.

In Conclusion, as a tv show nut, I think that pretty little Liars Original Sin has surpassed the original by a long shot. The scripts aren't so cut and dry. The writing is so much better. I only wish that they would give a hint was Davie murdered and it was made to look like a suicide? Something just does makes sense. However, there are so many plot gabs which is only meant to draw in the audience even more.
