In the latest episode of House of the Dragon, Rhaenyra has learned that a secret group of people are slaughtering her own knights. Daemon is determined to find this enemy, and he even hires his trustworthy knight of the Kingsguard, named Ser Luthor. They learn that the culprit behind these slaughters is coming from Ormund Hightower, who has announced Daeron Hightower as the new king to the Iron Throne.

Ormund is doing whatever he can to ensure that Rhaenyra will be seen as a false queen to King's Landing. He is using a very smart tactic by hiring unknown assassins to murder her knights, to show the public that she won't be able to keep everyone safe from harm. This dude is seriously a dangerous genius, and his desperation is what makes Ormund so terrifying.

After Daemon finds the one responsible for the murders of his men, he heads over to the secret hideout of the Kingsguard. He is confused with why it is so quiet, and why he can't find Ser Luthor. He finds the men, but they are all dead. This leads to Daemon making a drastic decision, and from the looks of the next episode, he is now dressed like a Kingsguard knight.

I think he is doing on this purpose, to catch whoever is responsible for the murders of his men. Daemon hardly ever shows his emotions, but when it comes to seeking revenge for people that he cared about, he will do whatever it takes to ensure his target will die. Ormund is making a very dangerous enemy, and I wouldn't doubt that these two men are going to get into their own battle at some point in season 3.

Ormund is a crazy risk taker, and that is what makes him a massive threat. I wonder what Rhaenrya is going to do to this guy later, I have a feeling that it's not going to end well for her. One of my biggest concerns with Ormund as of right now, is that he obviously has people on the inside doing his dirty work.

I got a crazy theory in my head, and I'm really hoping that I'm wrong on this one.

What if Ormund finds out about Rhaenyra's son, Joffery, inside of the castle?

If Ormund's men are so good at killing people and getting away with their crimes, imagine how easy it would be for them to break into the castle?

Daemon once hired his own assassins to go after Aemond in season 2, and this plan went off the rails when they decided to target a young boy instead, who happened to be Aegon's first born son. What if Ormund decides to mimic the same plan against Rhaenyra? Against her third son?

Imagine what this will do to Rhaenyra. She is already going insane from the looks of it, and if Ormund does decide to target one of her children, Rhaenyra won't hesitate to go on a rampage against Ormund. I'm still set on the queen going crazy at some point in the show, and I have a gut feeling that the town that Ormund captured is going to suffer from her wrath.

Ormund is playing a dangerous game, and he knows it. He is one of the most unpredictable villains in the show, and I'm scared to see what he will do next. The fact that he has so much control so far away from his enemies is not good for King's Landing.

I'm dreading to see what the next part of his plan is going to consist of.

And it sucks that innocent people are going to be pulled into his plan somehow.
