The gameplay reveal trailer for Destiny 2

The moment gamers have been waiting for is here – the Destiny 2 trailer is released, and Bungie has given fans a first-glimpse at the sequel to their popular property.

Fans of Bungie's Destiny have been clamoring for more content since the game first came out. While Bungie has offered tons of expansive add-ons to the game – greatly increasing what the game had to offer – a number of fans left the first game a little disappointed in what all that hype led up to.

From the looks of this new trailer, it's clear that Bungie has a ton in store for fans now, and, hopefully, the initial game on release will be a compelling, immersive experience that can take gamers to a new world, much like Bungie's original video game masterpiece for the first Xbox, Halo.

Now, while Destiny 2 has had an announcement trailer back in March, this new trailer offers our first look at the intense gameplay the game has to offer. While the first half of this trailer is a cinematic experience that should offer us a taste of Destiny 2's plot, the second half delivers the stuff gamers really want to see: gameplay.

At the end of the day, all the pretty pre-rendered visuals in the world don't matter. This isn't a movie, it's a game. If Bungie can deliver an experience as cool as the trailer indicates, then we are in for one great game.

Destiny 2 is coming out on Xbox One and Playstation 4 on September 7, 2017. It will come out on PC sometime later.
