Netflix Releases the Second Season of Unsolved Mysteries

The second volume of the popular series “Unsolved Mysteries” has arrived on the streaming giant’s platform. Season 2 was made available on October the 19th at around 12:00 am Pacific Time (3:00 am Eastern Time).

In a statement given by Netflix regarding Season 2 of the mystery docuseries, it reiterated its copyright obligations, which makes it mandatory for them to release the series at 12:00 am Pacific Time in countries where the episodes can be considered as Netflix originals; otherwise, it would have released the series at 12:00 am local time.

“Unsolved Mysteries,” Season 2 features six brand new mysteries, with “Washington Inside Murder” being the pilot of the new season.

A Netflix synopsis about the new season read that the season will feature episodes surrounding the mysterious death of a well-respected political insider, the connection between an unidentified dead woman in Oslo and a secret intelligence operation, the spooky connection between supernatural encounters in Japan and the 2011 tsunami.

The pilot of Season 2 features the murder mystery of Jack Wheeler, whose body was found in a landfill in 2010. According to a report by Washington Post, Wheeler had served in Vietnam and was primarily known as the co-founder of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Organization aka The Wall.

The second episode is titled “Death in Oslo,” sheds some light on the woman who was murdered under mysterious circumstances in a hotel room in Oslo, Norway, and the subsequent investigations that have not been unable to figure out much.

“Death Row Fugitive” explores an evil named Lester Eubanks, who was charged with multiple assaults and attempted murder. The man had escaped from his prison in 1973 and was never caught again.

“Tsunami Spirits” is about the ghost sightings which have been witnessed by many Japanese residents following the devastation caused by the 2011 Tsunami.

The fifth episode is titled “Lady in the Lake,” and it reveals details about the death of JoAnn Romain. The body of a woman who lived near Michigan was found in a lake, and while the authorities suspected it to be suicide, her family still firmly believes that it was a murder.

The 6th episode titled “Stolen Kids,” takes us back to 1989 New York, when two toddlers disappeared under mysterious circumstances within the duration of two months.

The first season had debuted on Netflix earlier this year and was a recipient of positive reviews from the critics. The fifth episode titled “Berkshires UFO” had created quite a buzz on the internet as the UFO phenomena had stormed the internet at that time courtesy of the Pentagon’s revelation of unclassified documents, The New York Times’ report regarding UFO’s, and Joe Rogan’s podcast featuring Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp.

Multiple reports hinted at the fact that “Berkshires UFO” was the most-watched episode in the entire Season 1 of “Unsolved Mysteries,” which also included some interesting stories like “Mystery on the Rooftop,” “House of Terror,” and “Ray Rivera Disappears.”

Tune in to Netflix to catch all the mysteries of Season 2, and don’t forget to check out Joe Rogan’s podcast on YouTube for absolutely no cost before it moves exclusively to Spotify in December.
