My Death Predictions for the Finale in House of the Dragon Season 3

We are now getting closer to the final episode of season 3 for House of the Dragon, and it appears that it's going to be a fantastic episode. The season is going to end with a major battle, that will be taking place in Tumbleton. Rhaenyra's army is heading straight to Ormund Hightower, who has taken Tumbleton hostage. Who knows how many casualties are going to be taking place among the innocent people...it's a huge shame that they were pulled into this war between two families that has become so much worse.

There are also going to be more people joining the fight from Team Black, because Ormund has been a massive threat, and they are determined to wipe out the final army that is standing in their way.

Here are the predictions of who I think is going to die in the season finale:

5. Ulf White

I went from loving this dude, to instantly hating him in season 3. He truly has no clue that he is stuck in a war, and it's crazy how he immediately turned sides, now teaming up with Ormund. I understand to a point that he was upset that he had to leave his old life behind, and he couldn't stand the treatment from his own team, but man, this dude was so clueless about the awful situation he was now stuck in.

Jace was right about this guy, he never deserved to join Team Black.

I know that this guy is going to die right away during the fight. Either Caraxes, or hell, even Hugh might straight up kill him on the spot. That is, if Hugh doesn't choose to also betray Rhaenyra in the end too.

4. Hugh Hammer

I'm a bit mixed on how to feel about Hugh. He was so determined to prove that he was that of Targaryen blood, and even though he got his wish of claiming a dragon, he lost his wife in the process. She is now stuck in Tumbleton, and who knows what sort of chaos is going to take place?

I think that Hugh's fate could go in any direction during the final episode. He might go crazy if his wife dies, and start killing everyone, not caring about who dies anymore, or he might go after Ulf for betraying Rhaenyra, and he could die in the process.

Whatever his fate will be, it's a bit unpredictable for me to figure out.

3. Larys Strong

I have a gut feeling that Larys is going to be toast. Literally.

After the recent episode, we have learned that Aegon has now gotten back Sunfyre, and he has taken out an army that was traveling to the final battle in Tumbleton. Only Tyland Lannister stayed behind with Aegon, ready to die by his side. Unlike that of Larys, who decided to leave on his own, not wanting to die.

The way that Aegon had watched him leave didn't look like it had sat well with him at all. I think that he could be a potential death, separate from the battle in Tumbleton. Aegon will view Larys walking away as a betrayal, and he will order Sunfyre to finish him off.

2. Addam Hull

From the looks of the trailer for the final episode, I think that Addam is going to go with Daemon to the final battle. He will most likely attempt to stop Ulf when he learns of his betrayal, helping Hugh dispose of this bastard after he betrayed Team Black. Addam has also been depicted as a very kind young man, who is very loyal. I think that he could sacrifice himself to save Hugh, or maybe even Daemon, who could also help during the fight in his own way.

It would be a huge shame if Addam dies, because he is one of the few good souls left in House of the Dragon.

1. Helaena Targaryen

I strongly believe her death is being heavily foreshadowed. Helaena has stated multiple times that she doesn't care to ride her own dragon into battle, and that moment she shared with her mother felt like a goodbye. I have a pretty messed up theory on how Helaena is going to die in the finale.

She has been having a lot of dreams of her children, and of who she could become, if she were to ride her dragon and become a warrior. I think she could end her own life, along with her children. Perhaps she is envisioning how heaven looks like for her and her children.

Whatever her fate will be, it will be so tragic to watch her die. Helaena never deserved to be pulled into her family's stupid war, and now she is going to pay the price for their selfish actions.
