My best TV shows going on right now that my readers need to start or continue watching are Modern Family, Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and House of Cards. By the end of this, I'll share a television show that didn't make this list but should have.

I chose a bit of everything when picking my best TV shows like best storytelling, good character development as well as still promising to deliver twist and turns.

All my friends know I love a good comedy show, which is why Modern Family is one of my best TV shows right now. It’s a good breather away from your real life family drama, things you never expect to happen to your family happens to them. You could at least relate one character or trait to your family member. Each episode is different from the last but keeps the format of confessions from the family members. If you were once a viewer of the show I say go back and watch because Season 10 will be the last season of the show. I want to know as much as you how it will all end.

I am a 90s kid but if you're an 80s fan then Stranger Things is the show for you. It brings back all those memories and style of an 80s science fiction horror show. I’ve heard some great reviews along with the young actors/actress who won the hearts of many people. If you love supernatural or the elements of them, you still have time to catch up the two season of Stranger Things.

Still hitting the most talked about television show, The Walking Dead Season 8 ranks up a rating of 3.8 with 6,774 viewers for March. Regardless what you may think about the last couple of seasons you have to admit the twist and turns have definitely left an impact on its zombie fans.

There’s a character out there for every fan to love and support. This TV show is a great conversation starter. The question pops up of whether a zombie apocalypse happens, what do you do? How do you prepare? Are you willing to kill to survive? But if you have no time to watch TV or you happened to fall out of the show you can always read The Walking Dead comic books instead.

I’m a fan of fantasy drama book as well as films like Lord of the Rings so when I heard about HBO’s Game of Thrones, I ran to Netflix and started watching it after it premiere three seasons. The series is based on George R. R Martin's seven fantasy novels. The series made such an impact on its fan viewers that rumors floated around about bringing a Lord of the Rings series to television, which will be interesting to see how they plan to adapt the script. Games of Thrones is also listed on Ranker.com as the number one best current show on the air, ranking in 14,016 votes. You’ll definitely be impressed by their CGI and graphics team in each season. The final series, season 8, will premiere winter 2019, giving you enough time to catch up or rewatch your favorite scenes.

Ash vs Evil Dead, received great reviews from fans, who were familiar with the 1981 film as well as Army of the Darkness. The series follows Ash played by Bruce Campbell, living a regular boring life, working at a superstore with his coworker and friend, Pablo played by Ray Santiago. But darkness follows once again after the book was read by Ash on one of his wild nights out. Ash once again has to save the world with the help of his new companions. Delivering three amazing seasons, STARZ recently canceled the series. I was looking forward to season 4 but I was one of the disappointment fans to hear the news of the cancellation. But definitely, check out the series, the art, costume, makeup department did an incredible work on the demons. I hope these television writers continue sending us their great content and storytelling. Television has never been at its highest peak than it has now.
