Moments Where Joseph Quinn *Totally* Had Us Acting "Normal"

Completely normal. No, Really...We're fine.

When Joseph Quinn scored the role of Hawkins' loud, eccentric and lovable leader of the Hellfire Club, Eddie Munson (I know the town hated him but we loved him so their opinion is irrelevant), it's probably fair to assume the Londoner never expected that it would be the role to catapult his popularity. Not only did his character become so beloved despite only having about 42 minutes of screen time in season five of Netflix's Stranger Things, but Quinn also found himself catching the hearts of a worldwide following like they were Pokémon.

Since last summer, fans have been waiting and watching to see what would be next for Quinn, all while swooning over new photo shoots, interviews, and appearances at various Cons and Fan Expos across the globe. It was recently announced he'd be starring in A Quiet Place: Day One. A spin-off to the popular franchise starring John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.

While Joseph just became a household name this past year, the 29-year-old had already created an impressive filmography for himself, over in the UK. With roles in Dickensian, Catherine the Great alongside Helen Mirren and, BBC's Les Misérables series. Note: If you can, watch Timewasters where he plays Ralph. An adorable, effervescent boy who is so enthusiastically in love. Trust me, it's adorably funny.

With that, let's run down just some of the moments Joseph left his admirers feeling like Ross holding his margarita and repeating how fine he is.

When he visited the Stranger Things Experience:

Just a happy pup having the time of his life!

Any time he's asked THAT Question:

I don't know you guys, really starting to think he doesn't know whether or not Eddie is coming back in any way...but seriously, let's stop asking him okay? Cool. Also, same @lunatictardis. Same.

The "cats?" theory

This was during a panel at Toronto's FanExpo in August and let me tell you, I was in the audience for this and it was truly a hoot! Please, never change Joe.

Munson meets Sparrow

As if we needed another reason to love Eddie. When Joseph shared how he modeled bits of Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow into Eddie, putting them side-by-side was very necessary.

"Don't ya big boy?"

The way in which Joseph completely improvised this moment, and it easily became one of the most memorable scenes/lines of season four- *chef's kiss*.

When we were blessed with the "Master of Puppets" practise video

Because the only thing better than watching Eddie play "Master of Puppets", is watching Joseph rehearsing the Metallica track.

Joseph and Jamie and the hand-lick

It's the way Jamie just sat there, totally unflinching and accepting of the situation.

All of the...

adorable...

awkwardness

True royalty.

The brow wiggles...

Joseph playing Enjolras in the BBC's Les Misérables miniseries just hits differently.

and winks...

Joe please, lives are at stake.

Oof I-

Isn’t it funny how we woke up one morning, saw this, and were then expected to just go on with our day as normal (???!!!)

Joseph and Gaten

These two though!... The way their friendship has grabbed hold of our hearts and hasn't let go 🥺

When a fan asked what his pet peeves were, prompting him to ask them and having his life flash before his eyes

The puppy eyes, and then sudden realisation and elation at the end is everything.

Boyfriend material

I know I'm not alone in saying his role as Tom in Make Up, was peak boyfriend material and a heart-stealer.

The over-the-shoulder and stare pose that weakened knees around the world

Totally normal about this, swear.

'Chocolate Button Eyes'

We are mush.

All of the giggles and so much chaotic energy

A precious human who must be protected at all cost.
