MAFS San Diego Spoilers are here! So, this season the show heads to the West Coast for the first time where 10 singles are matched by the experts.

Last season took place in Boston. Check out my MAFS Boston Couples Reunion – Who is Still Together post to see what happened after decision day.

Since last season only two of the couples stayed married; how will the experts do in matching up the couples?

New Experts Joining MAFS this Season

So, Doctor Viviana who has been with the show for the last several years has decided to spend her time closer to home focusing on other projects.

To replace Dr. Viviana; Devon Franklin is joining the show. Devon is an Author, Hollywood Producer, and Motivational Speaker.

In addition to Devon; Dr. Pia Holec who is a renowned psychotherapist who specializes in couple and sex therapy is joining the show.

Will these two new experts shed a different light on the series?

And, will there be more successful marriages?

MAFS San Diego – Meet the Couples

At the same time, this season features the following couples.

Alexis and Justin – So, Alexis is 29 years old and Justin is 33 years old. Alexis and Justin are both Specialists in the business field. She is from New Jersey and has received three marriage proposals, but hasn’t made it to the Altar. Justin was raised by a single mother in Mobile, Alabama; however, Justin is ready to be a husband. Will this relationship be the one that Alexis is looking for?

Krysten and Mitch – Krysten is 32 years old and has always dreamed of getting married. Mitch is 41 years old and his parents divorced when he was 3 years old. Since Mitch didn’t have positive role models growing up; he has viewed relationships differently. Because he hasn’t had a meaningful long-term relationship; he is hoping the Experts exceed his expectations; and put him on the right path to a successful marriage.

Lindy and Miguel – Accordingly, Lindy is a Doctor in Physical therapy and Miguel is an Associate Medical Director. With their shared interest in the medical profession; they seem to have the same interests. Also, Lindy is 29 years old. Though she has had two serious relationships in the past; she has been single for 2 years. Miguel’s parents separated when he was 10 years old and he considers himself to be a serial monogamist. Will they find their happily ever after?

MAFS San Diego – Two Other Couples

Morgan and Binh – Morgan is 27 years old and is a Registered Nurse and Binh is 29 years old and is an engineer. Through her professional career she has always been prepared for the unexpected. Binh is the son of Vietnamese parents who fell in love at a refugee camp in New Orleans at first sight. At the same time, the experts feel Morgan is the perfect match for Binh. Let’s see if they are right.

Stacia and Nate – Stacia is 37 years old and is an Accountant. Moreover, she has had a tough time finding someone and refuses to settle. Nate is 34 years old and is a Day Trader and hopes to find a partner who is equally ambitious.

In the same way, this series has gained popularity over the last few years and there continues to be speculation each season on who stays married and who decides to get a divorce.

Meanwhile, there are always rumors floating around.

Of course, this season is no exception. However, early reports are that there are issues with Stacia and Nate. Since I watched the San Diego matchmaking show; I have to admit I didn’t get why Stacia was even selected. In her interview with Pastor Cal; she told him some of the things she asks on a first date. One thing she asks is; “What is their credit score”? In my opinion, that is a red flag as “Who asks that on a first date”? Indeed, high maintenance!

Also, I personally didn’t get Krysten and Mitch being matched. Of course, time will tell on whether this couple stays married or not.
