"Let's Talk About That"

Who would drink a schnitzel milkshake, dissect a frog or eat a seaweed ice cream sandwich? Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal would.

These two started their Youtube channel on October 30,2008 with a short video called "The Bloody Door." It looks to be filmed in a dark room and the video quality is not up to par.

They launched the series "Good Mythical Morning" on January 9, 2012 and since then, Rhett and Link's channel has been a hit. They film in their own professional studio now, have 16.6 million subscribers, have filmed 18 seasons and 3 Good Mythical Summers. Starring along side Rhett and Link are Stevie Wynne Levin; who is a host on the show, Chase Hilt; who helps with the games and challenges and Josh Scherer; who cooks for Rhett and Link. Multiple guest stars that have been on Good Mythical Morning include; Felicia Day, 5 Seconds of Summer, Chandler Riggs and many more.

I love Good Mythical Morning because the videos really do make mornings good. They release a new video five days a week bright and early every morning. Rhett and Link have become part of my morning routine. I get up and while I eat breakfast, I watch a video. I find that Rhett and Link have released original content that cannot be found anywhere else on Youtube and are super funny. I have seen them eat some of the grossest things and do weird challenges that even I would not have the stomach to do. They have tried burgers made from banana and grasshoppers with chocolate for crying out loud!

Rhett and Link tape different segments on their show, including; Leaving ____ in _____ For A Month,Can We Find the Name Brand?, Alternate Universe Snacks, Discontinued Snacks Taste Test, and one of my personal favourites,International Food Taste Test.

If these types of videos are not for you, there are other segments you could enjoy. The Best ___ is a great one. Rhett and Link have tried every brand of cereal, every PopTart and popular candies to try to find the best of each one. Another one of my favourites is 100 Years of ____, which is a game the two play where they have to guess what year a certain thing was invented. The games have included so far 100 Years of Dance, 100 Years of Toys, and 100 Years of Swimsuits. I find the games can be educational and I've learned many facts that I did not know before.

On top of producing funny videos, Mythical Entertainment donated to The Houston Food Bank in September of 2017 after Hurricane Harvey. Rhett and Link matched all donations up to $10,000 US and raised $20, 375 in total. On March 9, 2019, they had a charity called “Shave Josh's Stache for Charity Cash.” The goal was to raise money for a nonprofit organization called No Kid Hungry and they raised $40, 596 in total. They have done many other fundraisers for charity’s and continue to do so. I believe Rhett and Link are truly good people, and they use their fame not just for themselves, but to also provide a positive voice and make positive changes in the world. These contributions are one of the many reasons I will continue to watch “Good Mythical Morning” and support them.
