Kirsten Storms makes a plea to General Hospital fans may be ignored
The actress continues to struggle with her current situation and asked her followers for a favor.

General Hospital fans are fuming because Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) were not around for the reveal that Cassius Faison (Ryan Peavey) was pretending to be Nathan West.
Now that the dust has settled from the WSB drama GH viewers are taking stock of recent events. Maxie and Damian's absence was noted, but now more attention is being paid to the situation.
Spinelli had doubts about the fake Nathan all along and should have had some role in the truth being revealed. Even though Storms is not sure if she will return to the ABC soap, the character could have been recast. GH execs are quiet on the issue. Storms recently addressed her situation on Instagram.
The actress asked her followers to stop speculating about her online. She said her daughter, Harper, could Google her name while on the school bus and read negative comments. She also commented that yes, she dyed her hair black, which really is no one's business.
Kirsten has millions of followers, and it's not realistic to expect all of them to comply with her wishes. There is no way to regulate online bullying, so perhaps the soap vet should stay away from social media and not fan the flames. People will respond with both positive and negative responses.
TMZ started this saga when they reported that Brandon Barash was granted a restraining order against his ex-wife. Brandon had not made the situation public, but addressed it after TMZ did.
GH fans noticed how quickly Maxie chose Spinelli over Nathan, and then she was suddenly off-screen. It would have been a good storyline for her to choose Cassius, and everyone would have watched the fallout. This did not happen, and Storms has been off the soap for months.

Some who watch the soap wonder if GH would even want the actress back, as this is her 6th time away. Jen Lilley filled in for Storms in 2011. Molly Burnett played Maxie from 2016 to 2018. Nicole Paggi was in the role temporarily in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Last year, there was no recast, but Maxie was in a coma while Kirsten was away. That's a lot of downtime, so General Hospital execs could decide Storms is a liability.
Viewers have gotten used to James being raised by a village which includes Spinelli, Cody, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Molly Lansing David (Kristen Vargaos, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), and Mac Scorpio (Jon J York).
Should Maxie not be recast and remain away from Port Charles, nothing much will change. Still, fans desire to see her return and spend time with her son. Spinelli could have received screen time even without Maxie around.
The opportunity was missed, and now James West (Gary James Fuller) is angry with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), who told him his uncle was impersonating his father. Viewers say this responsibility should not have fallen on Cody's shoulders, but now it has.
James chose to remain in Port Charles while his sister, Georgie (Lily Fisher), was traveling with their mom and Spinelli. No one knows at this point when they will return.
Kirsten Storms continues to emphasize that her parents wanted her to become an actress from the time she was a little girl and that it was not her choice. She also said LA never felt like home, which suggests she might not return.
Some fans may respect the wishes of the actress on behalf of her daughter but for some her plea will fall on deaf ears. Be on the lookout for General Hospital updates related to what comes next for Maxie and Spinelli.
