Kirsten Storms is back in LA but will she return to General Hospital?
Fans are excited but perhaps caution is necessary.

This article is in no way judging actress Kirsten Storms but looking at the facts as we know them from an unbiased viewpoint.
It’s being reported that Kirsten Storms is back in LA, with some fans and news sites suggesting that she is returning to General Hospital. The actress had moved to Tennessee last year, dyed her hair black, and said she never felt at home in California.
Now that she has returned to the Sunshine State and changed her hair color to blonde once more, her followers hope this is a sign that she will be playing Maxie Jones again, but there is an issue.
GH addressed her long absence by stating that the character was traveling. Now, they have sent Maxie and her family to Australia. Fans believe this is to leave the door open for a return, but would they bring them all back so soon after they were written out?
Brandon Barash stated that his ex-wife had been homeless and without income, but it takes money to travel across states and back. He also said she had been in a facility to recover. Storms countered that some things said about her were inaccurate, but did not elaborate.
If Storms was suffering side effects from a brain aneurysm, has she been cleared by doctors, is she stable enough to return to work, and will GH welcome her with open arms?

The public does not know all the details of the situation but a judge granted Barash a restraining order. Where is their daughter Harper Rose, and is she traveling back and forth with her mother?
Those who watch General Hospital should not read too much into this situation and become excited that Maxie is going to return. Another consideration is Gary James Fuller (James West).
After recovering from a dirt bike accident, he thanked Easton Winn for temporarily replacing him, but Fuller never returned. Did the GH team make an abrupt decision or are Maxie and James? Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Georgie Jones ( Lily Fisher) are slated to return.
It’s understandable that fans want to see Storm and the others back on screen, but there are details the public doesn’t know. Anderson playfully said that he just wanted more screen time, which suggests he has not been fired. Still, Spinelli has not been seen in Port Charles since March.
There are too many unknown factors, and the powers that be have remained silent on the issue. GH execs may know exactly whether they will rehire Kirsten Storms, replace her, or leave the character and her family Down Under.
There is something that those who watch the ABC soap should keep in mind. There are news sites that will run with the story that Kirsten Storms is returning to General Hospital without the facts, just to get views.
The actress enjoys communicating with her followers on social media. Some have been critical and judgmental but most wish her well. Still, trying to make the public understand her point of view has only brought more scrutiny.
Everyone wants to see Kirsten Storms healthy and back to work but we don't know what if anything may be necessary to get her from here to there or if it's in her best interest at this time. It would be nice if General Hospital would give an official statement on the situation to keep viewers informed but so far the have not.
Those who follow the popular soap vet should be cautious and not fall prey to clickbait and reshare false information. Be on the lookout for updates and braking news from sources you can trust and continue watching the drama in Port Charles.
