Throughout the movie, viewers are encouraged to think that Sagar is the mentally unstable brother who spent most of his life inside a psychiatric hospital, while Vijay is the innocent and successful young man living with his family.

However, the final scenes reveal that almost the entire story was built on a carefully planned lie.

The Troubled Childhood of Sagar and Vijay

Sagar and Vijay are identical twin brothers born to Mohan and Devi. Although the twins look exactly alike, their personalities appear to be completely different.

When they are children, several rabbits are found brutally killed inside their residential society. A security guard claims that he saw one of the twins walking near the garden at night with blood on his hands. Because the brothers look identical, no one can determine which child was responsible.

Their parents take both boys to Dr Augustine for psychological evaluation. According to the initial diagnosis, Vijay appears normal, while Sagar displays disturbing behaviour. He is not frightened by blood and seems to enjoy violence.

The situation becomes worse when one brother is apparently attacked with a bat. The family believes that Sagar injured Vijay, so they decide to send Sagar to a psychiatric hospital.

At least, that is what the audience is supposed to believe.

Vijay and Shravani’s College Life

Years later, Vijay grows into an intelligent college student. He becomes close friends with Shravani and Harsha. Shravani eventually falls in love with Vijay and confesses her feelings to him.

But Shravani is hiding a disturbing secret of her own.

Two men who have been following her enter a forest believing that she is an easy target. Instead, Shravani reveals her violent side. She kills both men using a sharp metal object.

A flashback shows that Shravani also suffered from psychological problems as a child. Dr Augustine had warned her mother that she could become dangerous without proper treatment. Her actions suggest that she has become a vigilante who targets men who harass or abuse women.

He explains that he learned about intoxicating plants and chemicals from wandering holy men in the Nallamala forest. Using his intelligence and knowledge, he secretly created an extremely powerful drug. It could be mixed into water, food, cigarettes or injections, allowing him to give it to victims without their knowledge.

His crimes were not limited to selling drugs.

He also selected young women from colleges, secretly drugged them and sexually assaulted them while they were unconscious. He recorded videos of the attacks and used the footage to protect himself. Several victims became pregnant, underwent abortions or died by suicide because they were unable to explain what had happened to them.

Amrita, whose suicide Lady Tiger had been investigating, was one of his victims.

The confession confirms that the drug network, the unexplained pregnancies and the deaths of several young women were all connected to the same criminal.

Why Lady Tiger Decides to Kill Sagar

Lady Tiger discovers an important clue at one of the crime scenes: a broken piece from the suspect’s jacket. After seeing a photograph of the twin wearing the same jacket, she becomes certain that he is behind the crimes.

She reports everything to her senior officer and explains that arresting him may not be enough. His drug network is powerful, and the videos of his victims could help him manipulate the investigation or escape conviction.
