Is Ripley on Netflix Worth Watching?

Till late last night, I watched a psychological thriller series named Ripley, which has come on Netflix. What's even better? It's available in Hindi, which was a big charm for me.

Let me tell you further that Ripley is a limited series; its destruction is not going to continue, which means you will not have to wait for season 2 of this series, and you will have to go through a total of 8 episodes to complete this series, and each episode is between 40 and 50 minutes long.

I can easily say one thing: the story was great. It was an enjoyable ride for me, but there was still no need to make a long series of eight episodes for this story.

Right now, in this series, the story has been executed at a very slow pace. A good amount of the story has been stretched a lot, and there are many scenes that have been stretched for a long time and were not needed.

Now when you sit to watch this series, you will definitely feel the overall length of this series, and this is the biggest negative point, so if you make up your mind to watch this series, then you have to keep in mind that this is a slow-burn psychological thriller; the story progresses very slowly, and the length of the episodes is also big, so you will have to watch this series with all your patience.

If you are able to do so, then yes, I guarantee you will be able to stay engaged in the series.

Look, from the perspective of the story, I would highly recommend that Ripley is a series that you should watch at least once in your life.

There is a good amount of suspense in the story; some good twists have been offered; some surprise killing scenes are present in the story; and the character work of the series is also quite good.

By the end of episode 3, I am pretty sure you will be very invested in the story and characters, especially the character of Ripley.

You will continuously want to go further with the character of Ripley.

The desire to know what the end consequences of whatever Ripley is doing will be will keep you completely engrossed in this series till the end.

You will remain invested in Ripley's character from start to finish.

The performances of all the actors are very good, especially Andrew Scott, who plays the character of Ripley.

Scott has played the character of Ripley very beautifully, and not only this, but the visuals of the series are also beautiful.

The entire series has been shot in black-and-white. Overall, this series gives a classic noir thriller feel; it is very strong in its technical aspect; the production quality of the series is very good; and the music is also good.
