Killing eve has been the sleeper hit of the decade. The tale of a funny, disturbed, bi-sexual and lonely hit-woman named Villanelle and her relationship and mutual obsession with the woman chasing her has rocked screens world-wide. There is a lot to like about this show. Great actors, great script, action packed and stylish. Because it's British it has two seasons of six episode each (so far), so even if you love it. You might want more, so if you love it try some of these recommendations.

5. Thirteen

If one of the things you like about Killing Eve is how good an actress Jodie Comer is and you want to see her in something else. She is also in the incredible BBC miniseries, called Thirteen. It is the tale of Ivy Moxam, who is kidnapped at thirteen and re-appears 13 years later at the age of twenty six. Soon another girl is taken and it becomes a drama based on trust, truth and the media. It's short so just binge it all in one night like a long film.

4. Fleabag

If what you like about the show is the British dry humor that in mixed with drama. Then the BBC has a lot more to offer you. They are good at producing things written by, staring, directed by and sometimes produced by some awesome female comics. The award winning "fleabag" is not to be missed. It is also very dark and focuses on one woman's path of hilarious self destruction as she fails to deal with the death of her closest friend. It is also written by a staring Phoebe Waller-bridge was/is the show runner, head writer and exec producer of Killing Eve.

3. A call to Spy

If what you like is strong woman who are involved in espionage, wear cool clothes but are brave then this is for you. We live in a time where the governments of the world can now tell us what happened in war times. Most recently we find out the British secret service had female agents in France during the time it was occupied by the Nazi. The film is written, produced and directed by women and about a one legged woman kicking arse.

2. The Spy who dumped me

If what you like about Killing eve is seeing girls shoot people, kick people, save the world and do so in a funny way this is for you. I like Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon is good in small doses. This film is about Mila who is dumped by her BF, who is a spy and she gets dragged into the world of espionage, car chases and people trying to kill her.

Lucky for her, she is a natural born killer and has the help of an Mi5 agent. She also has an assassin on her tail who is a homage to villanelle, given she is a Russian gymnast with horrid adoptive parents.

1. Kill Bill 1 & 2

If you like strong women, fighting, revenge, humor and good direction. I think Kill Bill 1 & 2 are some of the best films ever made. The Bride a.k.a Beatrix kiddo is a great character and Uma Thurman is one fantastic actress. This movie has many draw dropping shots, direction and can be watched as a film school to learn from. The fight scenes are incredible and show his influence of kung fu films.

if you want a very well made "rollicking tale of bloody revenge" this is the best by one of the best directors.

Killing Eve will no doubt go onward and i think it's been picked up for season 4 already. Yet if you want your fix now try some of these out. Phoebe who is in my opinion one of the best people in Hollywood is also credited as doing a Mr and Mrs. Smith tv show (2022) which i am sure will be awesome.
