I Believe that House of the Dragon Will Have a Bad Ending

From the way that things are escalating, I think that so many people are going to die.

While watching House of the Dragon, I have noticed one thing that is missing from this show, that Game of Thrones did have, but it was a rare feat.

We are missing an actual good person in House of the Dragon.

Game of Thrones did have a couple of good apples in there, but with House of the Dragon, I feel that so many of these characters are just pure villains at heart. So many bad things are taking place, which have led so many characters to become evil, or do horrible things to achieve their goals.

Rhaenyra for example, is trying so hard to be like her father, but she is not really cut out for the Iron Throne. She is not her father, and even though he wasn't exactly the best king, he knew how to keep the peace in some way. He was all about family, and he never chose violence.

Rhaenyra has not been able to continue this peaceful reign like her father once did. She has killed a man for the first time, who was once the right-hand man to her father, and it doesn't help that she is married to her uncle, Daemon, who cherishes bloodshed. I also believe that Rhaenyra is going to go crazy over time, because she has already lost three children to the war. Daemon also got a kid killed from their enemies, a child who did not deserve to die in such a brutal way.

It's so damn sad that the Targaryens ended up destroying themselves over the Iron Throne. This stupid war all started over a simple misunderstanding, due to the Queen Alicent. She believed that Viserys, the peaceful king had wanted their first-born son, Aegon, to be king. However, the king had believed he was speaking to his daughter, and he told the story of Aegon the Conqueror, a powerful Targaryen king that used to exist before their own time. If only Alicent had somehow been able to reverse this in her favor, and there could have been a possibility of preventing more war.

She most likely would have been executed over this insane mistake, but I believe the war could have ended somehow. It's so sad how something so simple literally doomed everyone. Viserys literally confirmed to everyone back in season 1, that his daughter was going to be the true heir, becoming their future queen. Alicent even confirmed to Rhaenyra that she was alright with her husband's decision, and even though there was a possibility that the family would have struggled to get along, I'm sure the throne would have been handed over to Rhaenyra in some way.

But instead, we are about to witness the extinction of the entire Targaryen family.

In Game of Thrones, it is said that the Targaryen family used to exist, but due to their own battles over time, they ended up wiping out their own family line. They even got so many of their dragons killed, almost leading to their own extinction. This all makes sense, since Khalessi in Game of Thrones only has three dragons with her, and she becomes the most powerful Targaryen ever, known as the Mother of Dragons.

I'm so curious how all of these characters are going to meet their downfall. I feel that all of these people are selfish, seeking their own ambitions, and at some point, things are only going to get worse.

I'm still not over the theory of Rhaenyra becoming the mad queen. I also think her husband will cherish her madness, ready to kill anyone for the name of his queen. He is also constantly pushing her to do crazy things, and I think at some point, Rhaenyra will fully give in to her madness.

What do you think is going to happen in House of the Dragon?

Do you think anyone will have a good ending?
