House of the Dragon Season 2 Review: Dragons Roar Again

Overall, I liked the first episode of House of the Dragon Season 2. Yes, there is no action, but we will get to see it further, and I hope that Season 2 will be as good as Season 1. So if any of you liked the House of the Dragon series, definitely start watching its Season 2 from now. Just remember, this show is not family-friendly.

House of the Dragon Season 2 Review

Season 2 of the fantasy drama series House of the Dragon has arrived. Personally, I am a big fan of the world of Game of Thrones. The things shown in it give me an epic level of enjoyment. I had watched all the seasons of Game of Thrones without a doubt when it premiered.

Now it is a good thing that Game of Thrones is available in Hindi on JioCinema as well.

If you know about the House of the Dragon show, then I am damn sure that you know this series is actually set before the events of Game of Thrones, which means it is a prequel.

Now, Season 2 of the House of the Dragon show is a continuation of Season 1, so to understand Season 2 better, it is mandatory for you to watch Season 1. There is no need to watch "Game of Thrones," but I definitely recommend that you watch it.

I would recommend that if you like watching epic-level fantasy shows, then you should definitely try Game of Thrones once because its world is very interesting or very dangerous, especially for those who are drama lovers and like to watch slow-burn type stuff. If they sit to watch Game of Thrones, they will get complete pleasure.

Now in the House of the Dragon show, you get to experience a world similar to Game of Thrones. That is why I watched this show. At present, only the first episode of season 2 has been released, which is available on both the Max or JioCinema platforms.

In JioCinema, I noticed some scenes were censored. Now you have to find out which scenes have been censored.

House of the Dragon Season 2 Review

Now let's talk about what my experience has been. After watching the first episode of House of the Dragon season 2, you see that season 2 starts from exactly the same point at which the previous season ended, i.e. after the death of Princess Rhaenyra's son. Now she has to take revenge for her son's death.

After the tremendous ending of Season 1, like all of you, I was also waiting and I expected that from the beginning of Season 2, we would be shown war, dragon action, and brutality, making it a completely enjoyable ride. But we have seen dragons, yet they have not been shown in action.

Actually, there is no action in episode 1. Even in episode 1, we saw characters planning, plotting, or making strategies.

Episode 1 is also a buildup of the coming war, and in episode one, the focus has been on the characters and their conflicts. They have been further developed, so episode 1 is definitely a slow start, but the drama and character work in it are good.

And that's not all. In the beginning, we were introduced to the North, and it felt good once we got into the settings of the North. Yes, there is no clear direction for the action, yet it is confirmed that very soon we will see a big civil war, and things are moving towards that. Plus, the end of episode 1 has ended on an interesting note.

Conclusion

Overall, I liked the first episode of House of the Dragon Season 2. Yes, there is no action, but we will get to see it further, and I hope that Season 2 will be as good as Season 1. So if any of you liked the House of the Dragon series, definitely start watching its Season 2 from now. Just remember, this show is not family-friendly.
