Helaena Targaryen is the Only One Who Deserves a Happy Ending

Helaena is the only one that I feel never should have been dragged into the war. While Alicent did do a bad parenting job for her sons, Helaena became her own person, wanting to live in peace than choose war. Helaena was also made to marry her brother Aegon, have his children, only for her son to be killed during an 'assassin gone wrong' plot under the orders of Daemon Targaryen.

Now she is being held hostage in King's Landing and is spared for now under the orders of Rhaenyra. Helaena is also stuck with her daughter, and she is one of the few graces that could be keeping Helaena on her toes, and just when things couldn't get any worse, Alicent has now found out that Helaena is pregnant.

There is a huge mystery behind this pregnancy in the show. It's either Aegon's kid, or the child could belong to someone else. Honestly, if Helaena did cheat with someone else, it would make sense, because Aegon wasn't exactly a good husband to her. Whoever the father is, it's not good for the situation of Helaena.

So many things could go wrong in King's Landing, especially when the war is just going to get even worse. Another Hightower family member is attempting to take on Rhaenyra, by capturing a whole town to ensure that the queen won't use force against him. Now he is determined to have Alicent's third son attempt to take back the Iron Throne, and who knows what other brutal carnage will follow?

I feel so bad for Helaena, because out of everyone in the Hightower family, she is truly the only good one left.

Alicent always did what was asked of her to gain power in the Targaryen family, and now the war has gotten so much worse.

Aemond is missing, and he has supposedly run off with his dragon. (I highly doubt this, because I feel that he could be cooking up a really dangerous plan).

Ormund is a power-hungry piece of crap like Alicent's father.

Otto Hightower was the reason the Hightower family became a threat to Rhaenyra, and he was eventually executed for his crimes. (Finally).

Aegon is now deemed dead, and he is now traveling with Larys. He is determined to make a sort of comeback to get revenge for everything he lost, and I have a feeling that his dragon is still alive and will help him achieve it.

Gwayne Hightower is another good family member, and he is left in a huge dilemma, always wanting to do right, but he is stuck with a family of corruption. He is currently traveling with Cole, the worst knight in the Seven Kingdoms.

Cole is the ultimate scumbag in the Hightower family. He has been full of evil and corruption since season 1. He believes that he is a failure for committing a sin, and now he has given himself to nothing but evil. There is no going back for this guy, compared to the other villains, I think he is the worst one.

Compared to everyone else, Helaena obviously stands out among her family. She is too pure for this world, and I really hope she gets a happy ending with her two children. I picture her character escaping from King's Landing, and if things do get worse, I think that Alicent will sacrifice herself to save her own daughter, which would be a good way to redeem her mother.

Whatever is going to take place with Helaena's character, she does not deserve any more tragedy in her life. She has been through enough and is the only character that needs a happy ending in House of the Dragon.
