Include Mickey and Minnie in Your Holiday Fun
I think we are all aware by now that I am the christmassy of Christmas elves, so along with articles about date night Christmas movies, things that feel like winter and the best Christmas movies of all time, I am also here to help you have a very Disney Christmas. Not very many people can afford to go to Disneyland or Disney World for the Holidays but that doesn’t mean that you can’t fully immerse yourself in Disney Christmas fun.
Mickey’s Once and Twice Upon a Christmas
Whether you have small children or you just want some nostalgic vibes for your holiday season, Mickey’s Once (and Twice) Upon a Christmas is an excellent addition to any family movie night. The Upon a Christmas’ are a collection of shorter stories centering around a pair of characters; Mickey and Minnie, Goofy and Max, Donald and his nephews (Once Upon a Christmas). And Minnie and Daisy, Goofy and Max, Donald and his nephews (Twice Upon a Christmas). This series is perfect for children (or adults) with shorter attention spans as the shorter stories make it easier to stop at any time.
House of Mouse Christmas Special
Now for some reason this can’t be found on Disney+, none of the House of Mouse series can, which is very upsetting. But! It can be found on Youtube and Amazon Prime, there is also a secondary House of Mouse Christmas special on YouTube that doesn’t have everything from the original but it does have 2 of the stories and that is available for free on YouTube as well.
Decorating Disney: Holiday Magic
If you are like me, you like to have some holiday magic playing while you are baking or wrapping presents and there is nothing more perfect than the Decorating Disney special on Disney+. It gives you an in depth look at how the amazing Disney staff transforms Disney into the beautiful winter wonderland that it turns into after Halloween. Disney at Christmastime is one of my favorite things on earth, but for those of us that can’t afford to go to Disney for the holidays watching this special will either help curb the craving or make it so so much worse. Either way it's a magical experience and I highly recommend it.
The Disney Holiday Sing-Along
If your family is more expressive with their holiday joy I would love to turn your attention to the Disney Holiday Sing-Along. An excellent chance for the whole family to bond and enjoy the holiday season together. Light up the fireplace, heat up some hot chocolate and gather around your living room and sing your favorite holiday songs as a family. Or you could always embarrass the hell out of your kids when their friends are over, whatever works best for your family.
Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year
Sometimes we forget that Disney owns so many things, but one of my favorite nostalgic re-watches is Winnie the Pooh. Winnie the Pooh has 2 holiday specials but only one of them is available on Disney+. Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too is available for purchase on Amazon Prime. Great for younger kids or any adult that just wants to take a trip down memory lane. Winnie the Pooh is the perfect family series for the Holidays.
There are so many holiday and Christmas movies on Disney+ but these are by far the most closely associated with classic Disney characters. So if you want to fill your holidays with Disney joy that is fairly easily accessible, these are my recommendations. I will be here all season recommending holiday movies for every personality type and occasion.

The Power of Marketing
In a world where media surrounds us in a way that is inescapable there is so much that exists that it can’t possibly all be good. Now not everything that is branded as “bad” by the general public actually had to suffer that fate. Sometimes the problem isn’t the cast, plot or dialogue, sometimes it's simply the marketing. The marketing of a project can kill it or sell it more than the project itself. If a television show is marketed as a teen drama then that's the drama that you expect, however if a project is branded as satire then it's easier as a writer or showrunner as you haven;t boxed yourself into a specific genre. Both Riverdale and Jennifer’s Body get a bad rap, one because it is in fact bad but would be brilliant if marketed differently and the latter brilliant but marketed so poorly a majority of the initial audience missed the point.

Before Sylvester the Cat, there was Sylvester the Dog
Sylvester was a Merrie Melodies canine Sylvester, the Cat, is a beloved Looney Tunes character who debuted in March 1947 in the animated short Life with Feathers. The iconic Mel Blanc once said that he enjoyed voicing Sylvester, one of his favorite characters. The cartoon short that was near and dear to Blanc's heart was Bird's Anonymous which starred the popular cat.

CHAPTER 15 I pulled up in front of Sandy’s a little early, so I texted Becca again and left a message for Sharon, hoping she had a good day and I’d see her tomorrow. Two cars pulled into Sandy’s driveway. I don’t know why I was surprised to see another man with her. We’d been apart for two years and I certainly didn’t waste any time getting back on the horse.
