Jass runs but eventually realizes that escaping will not solve anything. On the terrace, he finally confronts everyone and explains why he hid the truth.

He says he feared Randhawa would kill him if Preet discovered everything, while telling Baani during her pregnancy could have caused enormous emotional stress.

Jass expects Baani and Preet to begin fighting over which woman gets to stay with him.

But the opposite happens.

Neither woman wants Jass.
