Renowned South Korean actors Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin are reportedly in talks to lead a new romantic drama called "Trunk." The show is set to follow the lives of two individuals who are not keen on the concept of marriage. The story revolves around a fixed-term marriage service agency called NM that pairs its clients with their desired spouse for a limited time. The agency's deputy head, Noh In Ji, chooses to stay single despite working in the marriage industry. Meanwhile, music producer Han Jung Won uncovers deception in marriages.

The respective agencies of the actors, Management SOOP, have confirmed that both Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin have been approached for the lead roles and are considering the offers positively. PD Kim Gyu Tae, known for directing popular dramas like "Our Blues," "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," "It's Okay, That's Love," and "Live," will be at the helm of the production. Screenwriter Park Eun Young, who previously worked on "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth," will be joining as the writer.

Seo Hyun Jin has established herself as a prominent actress in South Korea through her roles in popular dramas like "Another Miss Oh," "Temperature of Love," "The Beauty Inside," "You Are My Spring," and "Dr. Romantic." She has a reputation for delivering excellent performances in romantic roles, making her an excellent choice for the character of Noh In Ji.

On the other hand, Gong Yoo has become a household name in the entertainment industry, thanks to his breakthrough performance in the highly popular drama "Goblin" or "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God."
