'General Hospital' shockers coming

Tuesday's episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL did not air in some locations due to preemption related to President Joe Biden. The show will air in its entirety on Wednesday but some viewers have already posted this episode online and it's a shocker. On Monday viewers saw Peter August falling down the stairwell at GH but are not sure if he tripped or someone pushed him. Some fans of the soap believe that Roger Howarth's character has returned and is responsible. On Tuesday Peter was still at the bottom of the stairs and there is no clue how he really got there.

Flashbacks let viewers know that Peter has been very busy and now Maxie and her unborn baby are in danger. Mr. August threatened the fake nurse Chloe Jennings to do his dirty work so that he can expedite his evil intentions. The nurse forced Maxie to sit in a wheelchair and then injected her with some type of drug. Unless she is pretending, Peter's former fiancee seems to be out cold.

Mr. August obviously was trying to put his plan in motion to whisk Maxie and her baby out of town. Now that he is at the bottom of the hospital stairs unconscious, he cannot give nurse Jennings more instructions so perhaps Maxie and baby Lu will get a reprieve. This will all be horrifying news to BLQ who is faking being pregnant by Valentin. Maybe Bobbie Spencer will happen by and deal with Chloe so that Maxie and Brook Lyn can do what they have been planning.

Meanwhile, Britt is dealing with finding out that she indeed has the marker for Huntington's disease. She is afraid she will die a long, slow, and painful death but Jason pointed out that she could get hit by a bus. A few weeks back Soaps.com suggested that Kelly Thiebaud was leaving GENERAL HOSPITAL which would seem to imply that she would succumb to the illness that killed her father. Whatever happens down the road, Jason and Britt took the first step towards a relationship when they kissed.

JaSam fans are angry but hopeful that Sam will get her man back in the end. GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers who are happy for Brason/Jabritt are hoping that the couple will have enough time together to explore their feelings before something happens to Britta or they return to the States. Perhaps Brando might be the one to end the threat from Cyrus if he goes through with the step he has just taken.

Peter kidnapped Gladys from her hotel room on the orders of Renault. When Brando arrived at the location he found his mother bound and gagged with duct tape. Cyrus admitted that he knew his driver is the father of Sasha's baby and ordered Corbin to shoot his own mother or harm would come to Sasha and his unborn child. Brando walked over to his mom and pointed the gun at her then suddenly did an about-face.

When the scene ended Brando had the gun on Cyrus but had not yet pulled the trigger. Will he save his mother by taking out the crime boss/drug lord or try to make some type of deal? Carly has Spinelli using his tech skills in an attempt to locate Sonny's cousin. Perhaps she might find them in time and have her men handle Renault. Who knocked Peter down the steps and why and will this give Maxie time to get away from nurse Chloe?
