General Hospital shocker: Gladys conspires to get Saha hooked on prescription drugs

GH viewers say Gladys needs to go

Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burrows) is not a popular character on General Hospital. From her first moments on screen, GH viewers said she was nothing but trouble and she has proved them to be correct. She is currently in the hot seat with mob boss Selina Wu (Lydia Look) who is enjoying watching her squirm and her list of dirty deeds is stacking up. Selina used her authority to get Gladys to change her story so Cody Bell (Josh Evans) would not be charged with stealing her bracelet.

Wu now owns Gladys who owes a lot of money in gambling debts and has been paying them using money from Sasha Gilmore ( Sophia Mattson). Sasha wants to remove her mother-in-law from being her financial guardian but Gladys does not desire Sasha to find out what she has been up to. In he desperation, spoilers say Gladys will do something quite dastardly. She is working with the psychiatrist who has the authority to release her as Sasha's guardian and obviously been utilizing more of the money to pay him off.

Gladys will play dirty to get Sasha back under her thumb

Gladys will get the psychiatrist to prescribe prescription meds for Sasha in an attempt to get her hooked on drugs again. This is pretty low even for Gladys but she is also an addict and desperately trying to cover her tracks. Perhaps Cody should have been upfront with Sasha from the beginning and told her the truth about her mother-in-law. If he had not been playing cat and mouse with Gladys the situation would not be so sinister right now.

Spoilers don't say how Sasha will react when the doctor offers her a prescription and he will no doubt try to convince her that she will be safe and not relapse. Gladys continues to get away with heinous acts just like Nina Reeves ( Cynthia Watros) and General Hospital viewers are saying on social media they cannot wait for both women to be exposed.

Fans are hoping Sasha will stand strong and refuse the drugs and if she does what could Gladys possibly do next? This situation is a house of cards that will soon fall and Gladys will have to answer to her cousins Sonny Coeinthows (Maurice Benard) who is oblivious to what she has been up to. Some viewers are wondering why Wu is playing fast and loose with Ms. Corbin who she knows is Sonny's relative. It looks like Selina like to live dangerously because she and Sonny are supposed to have an understanding.

Pay is coming for Gladys

Gladys seemingly has wiggled her way out of being exposed for planting the expensive bracelet in Cody's pocket but a day of reckoning will come in regard to Sasha's money. At some point, the large sums should be questioned and there is no way the missing funds will not be noticed. When Selina stepped in to mediate between Cody and Gladys viewers suspected she will find another way to have ahold on them both but it has not yet been revealed.

Be on the lookout for General Hospital spoilers to find out if Gladys succeeds in getting Sasha hooked on prescription pills again. This is a shocking turn of events because sobriety is so important to Sashsa who will never suspect what her mother-in-law is up to. One of the most despicable things anyone can do is to actively attempt to get an addict who is trying to stay clean, hooked on drugs again. At some point, all of this will come crashing down and there will sadly be collateral damage.
